Upon arrival you will be met by an ExecuTour representative.  He/She will hand over your travel documentation and assist you with any remaining questions you might have. 

Your driver will await you at the Arrivals Terminal and take you to your vehicle.  He/she will assist you with your luggage. 

Upon your arrival at the Hotel situated by the V&A Waterfront, enjoy some time at leisure exploring or simply relax.

Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel.  Today you have a full day "go as you please" Tour.  Your Guide/Driver will meet you at the Hotel. 

We recommend a Cape Peninsula Tour which includes the scenic Chapman's Peak drive, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.  Arrival back in the afternoon.

Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel.  Today you have another full day "go as you please" Tour.  Your Guide/Driver will meet you at the Hotel.

Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel.  At 10h00 your driver will meet you at the Hotel reception for your transfer to the Cape Town Station.

11:00 Depart from Cape Town Station. Guests may freshen up in their suites before joining fellow travelers in the lounge car and observation car.

13:00 Lunch is served in the dining cars. The train reaches Worcester in the Hex River Valley before climbing ±750m up the face of the escarpment. The train arrives at the first of four tunnels on the pass. The last tunnel is 13.5km long so guests are to be careful when walking through the train and may wish to turn on necessary lights.

16:30 Tea is served in the lounge and observation cars. Disembark at Matjiesfontein for an opportunity to stroll through the historic village. Of special interest is the museum on the platform and a collection of historic cars and railway carriages to the right of the Lord Milner Hotel.

19:30 Dinner is served in the dining cars. Overnight on board. Dress: Formal

07:00 Breakfast is served in the dining cars until 10:00. Travel through the Karoo, a vast semi-desert region that was once an enormous inland sea. Over millions of years, volcanic matter was ground down and deposited as silt upon the seabed to form what geologists call the Karoo system.

12:30 Lunch is served in the dining cars. Enjoy a tour of Kimberley’s Diamond Mine Museum and the Big Hole. Capital of the Northern Cape, Kimberley is well known for the discovery of diamonds that led to its establishment in 1871.

16:30 Tea is served in the lounge and observation cars.

19:30 Dinner is served in the dining cars en route to Klerksdorp. Overnight on board. Dress: Formal

07h00  Breakfast is served in the dining cars until 10h00 as the train travels via Krugersdorp and Johannesburg through the goldfields of the Witwatersrand towards Pretoria.

12h00 Arrive at journey’s end at Rovos Rail Station in Capital Park, Pretoria.

Upon arrival you will be met by your English Speaking Driver / Guide.  Embark on a Pretoria City Tour.  After the Tour you will be dropped off at the Hotel in Johannesburg.

Pretoria City Tour

On this half day tour, you will learn a lot about the fascinating history of South Africa during a Pretoria city experience. Pretoria is the capital of South Africa and therefore full of historic sites. We visit the Union Buildings, headquarters of the government. The buildings are beautifully situated in terraced gardens, through which you can enjoy an idyllic walk. Another major attraction on this tour is the Voortrekker Monument. This monument is of great significance to many Afrikaans speaking South Africans because it stands for Afrikaner Nationalism. The monument is in the shape of a big stone cube. The interior walls depict the story of the Great Trek, a mass movement of Afrikaner Boers who resented British rule.

Next interesting site on our tour is the Paul Kruger House Museum. Kruger National Park is named after Paul Kruger. Learn more about this fascinating man and his life. The house displays furniture and personal items of the Kruger family. Pretoria has character in its buildings and during this city architecture tour, you will be given ample opportunity to ask your guide about the history behind the buildings and culture. We visit Church Square with prominent buildings like the Ou Raadsaal, Palace of Justice and Capital Theatre.

Meet your Driver for your transfer to the Airport for your flight to Sabie Sands Airport. 

FedAir Air Shuttle to Sabie Sands Airport (Ulusaba) - 10h30 departure.  Upon arrival at the Airport you will be transferred to the Lodge.
