Private Half Day City, Table Mountain and Sunset Cruise Tour, including entrance fees

You will be met at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel to start your Private Half Day Afternoon City, Table Mountain and Sunset Cruise Tour. Depart the city in the afternoon for Table Mountain’s Lower Cableway Station. We will explore the mountain’s summit and absorb the breathtaking views before descending. We then return to the city via the old Cape Malay Quarter, for a walk through the Company’s Garden, a fresh produce garden for ships and locals from the mid-17th century, and now home to the South African Museum, Houses of Parliament, National Gallery and St. George’s Cathedral. We stroll through the city to Greenmarket Square, where you can browse the bustling market stalls for beautiful and unique African mementos. From here, we drive to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront to board a traditionally designed 58ft gaff-rigged schooner, easily identified in the bay by her rusty brown sails. Our sunset sail around Table Bay affords fabulous views of the city lights and surrounding scenery, while enjoying sparkling wines and soft drinks. After the experience you will be dropped off at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel.

Table Mountain was officially named one of the New 7 wonders of Nature in December 2012. Both local and international tourists are adding the New 7 Wonders of Nature sites to their “bucket lists”. Table Mountain is the most accessible of the New 7 Wonders and is the only one in a city.

City and Table Mountain

Explore the wonderful market of Greenmarket Square, and haggle with local sellers of beautiful wares. Learn about the rich history, culture and architecture of Cape Town, walk through the peacful Company Gardens, visit the Castle of Good Hope, Grande Parade and the District Six Museum. Finally, marvel at the colourful houses and cobbled streets of the Cape Malay Quarter.

A MILLION-STAR EXPERIENCE

Romantics, adventurers, and solitude seekers alike can discover the magic of an evening out in Africa – in complete luxury. Delivered by safari vehicle to their chosen hideout, guests spend the sunset hours enjoying a gourmet picnic and spotting the animals that wander past (at a safe distance), before turning in for the night beneath a blanket of stars. Lion Sands Treehouses have their origins in Chalkley Treehouse, built on the site where our ancestor Guy Aubrey Chalkley made camp in a centuries-old leadwood tree. Since then, they have got a fair bit more luxurious, with Kingston and Tinyeleti added to the collection.
