On arrival into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon may be spent at leisure.
Today we head into the Kruger National Park where will have the chance to encounter the wildlife of Africa on an exciting morning game drive. You then have a few hours to relax at the facilities of the lodge, either taking a dip in the rock pool or lounging out reading a book in your own private sala, before meeting again in the late afternoon for a scrumptious high tea while soaking up with African sun.
On this day we set off an afternoon game walk where your highly qualified & trained field guide will teach you how to track, read the bush and educate you about all the various plant species. On return to the camp, we can share our day’s experiences over a pre-dinner drink, followed by dinner at the lodge.
We continue our search for the African wildlife on an evening game drive. The night drives allow guests the opportunity to see the nocturnal animals not encountered during the day.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Mozambique. You will be met and transferred from Vilankulo Airport to Rio Azul, located on the banks of a crystal clear lagoon, on a spectacular beach drive to your lodge where you will spend the next three nights.
The day is spent exploring the Indian ocean on water–based excursions such as snorkeling. We also take a trip to Pansy Island where you can search for these special petal–shaped shells on the white beaches of the Island and spot flocks of pink flamingos. For lunch, enjoy a beach picnic on the island before returning to the lodge for dinner.
The day is spent at your leisure, either beside the swimming pool or at the beach, enjoying sundowners or participating in some of the optional activities available.
Today we paddle out into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean on a kayak excursion, while experiencing the amazing marine life the ocean has to offer.
