Dumelang! Goeiedag!  Welcome to our beautiful South Africa.

After you arrived at  Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit, your guide will collect you for the 20-minute transfer with an open safari vehicle to Bundox Safari Lodge & Retreat.

Check into your lodge where our friendly staff on duty will welcome you with a refreshing welcome drink. You will have time to settle in and orientate yourself with your surroundings before your 60- minute spa treatment at Spa@Bundox.

Upon your return, there is time to freshen up for pre-dinner drinks. Relax around the fire and swap stories about life in the bush before dinner.

Afterwards, gather around the dancing flames of the fire and be entertained by your guide's stories of bush life.

The smell of fresh coffee indicates the start of a new day as you depart on safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park.

A full-day open-safari vehicle drives into the world-renowned Kruger National Park is one of the highlights of South Africa which is home to an impressive number of species: 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds, and 147 mammals living in the park.

There will be a packed breakfast that you may enjoy whilst on the drive, we will stop at one of the park restaurants for lunch (your own account).

Arriving back at camp during sunset, freshen up and enjoy some beverages while reminiscing about the day’s amazing sightings before dinner is served.

After a hearty breakfast, you will depart to the Blyde Dam Boat Cruise where you will enjoy the splendour of the third largest Canyon in the world. Unquestionably being the largest 'green canyon' due to its lush subtropical foliage. An interpretation tour by a tour guide will take you to the rare living Kadishi Tufa waterfall and the Three Rondawels.

On arrival back at the lodge, you may luxuriate before departing on your Animal Rehabilitation Centre Tour.

Situated in the shadow of the majestic “Mariepskop” which forms part of the mighty Drakensberg mountains, the unique Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is home to many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured, and poisoned wildlife. The rehabilitation team is highly dedicated conservationists
committed to preserving Africa’s wildlife and they are also extremely passionate about sharing their intimate knowledge.

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast whereafter you may luxuriate next to the swimming pool or book a lovely spa treatment with a picnic in the bushveld.

Afternoon drives bring a totally different aspect where you can search for grazers in the afternoon and predators starting their nightly hunts. The African bush is mystic and wild. It is a photographer's paradise, and magic to the traveler.

Back at the lodge dinner will be served whilst enjoying a beverage.

Rise early and head out on a morning bush walk within the surrounds of the lodge.  Follow our experienced guides on a leisurely morning walk. Find out what nature must tell us and discover the secrets of the bush which you mostly drive past in search of the Big 5. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of plants, go on the search for tracks, learn more about the influence of nature on tribal believes and the versatile uses nature provides us with. Listen to the sounds of the bush and discover a world that can only be discovered on foot.

Every journey should end with something good, your breakfast will conclude this adventure of a lifetime, thereafter you will be transferred to the Eastgate airport for your onwards journey.
