Dinner
This morning after breakfast, you will be met by your driver/guide and depart in your private vehicle to Tarangire National Park, a drive of about an hour to the park gate. Once you are inside the National Park, game drive about two hours to Kuro Camp arriving in time for lunch.
After lunch, leave on a game drive return to camp after sundowners.
Tarangire country is big and bold: the camp is the opposite...a little gem. Full of heart and soul, and tucked into a grove of secluded riverside bush, it is so much at one with the wild that animals hardly look up as they do their thing around us. Elephants often pass right through camp, and you can be completely absorbed into their secret lives, from the sweet comfort of our sun-slatted living space.

Tarangire National Park covers an area of 2,600 square kilometers. It is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park.
Over the next two days you enjoy a combination of game drives through a variety of environments, and guided walks for a closer look at nature. Perhaps a surprise bush breakfast or sundowners at the edge of the plains thrown in for good measure. The remote location deep within the park ensures you enjoy the best of Tarangire with relatively few others around.
Or you might head off on spot-lit night drives seeking out nocturnal species. Often the first sign that something is out there, is a pair of eyes shining in the dark; it could be anything: a porcupine, a bush baby, a hyena loping home. This time too is when you learn how quietly an elephant treads.

On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred to Serian Lamai Serengeti
The open plains of the Lamai Wedge are incredibly beautiful and abundant in game. The landscape is reminiscent of scenes from Out of Africa, and there is plenty of freedom to roam and explore. The camp is situated opposite Crossing Point 4, midway among all crossing points along the river – and is perfectly positioned to spectate the wildebeest river crossings.
Away from the river, this area of rolling savannah, boulder-strewn hillsides and fig-tree groves, is littered with inconceivably enormous herds of wildebeest, topi and zebra – as well as all the predators that gorge on this movable feast. Needless to say, the game-viewing is world-class. Cheetah, lion and elephant especially make for fantastic sighting, but it’s not unheard of to see the Big Five in a day.
