Here, meet your guide who will transfer you and fellow guests to your accommodation. Samburu is also an ornithological paradise, home to many birds including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture

On arrival, check in and spend one night at Mbweha Safari Camp in a standard tented room with all meals and scheduled shared game activities included.

There are two optional activities at an additional cost available: A hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains followed by a champagne breakfast costing US$450.00 per person (subject to change) or visit a traditional Masai Manyatta costing US$35.00 per person (off the beaten track) and experience the culture of this world famous community. The Masai still live as they did for centuries -interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions.
Today enjoy a full day game drive in the Masai Mara enjoying a picnic lunch in the bush.
After breakfast it is time to check out. Please be ready in reception at the agreed time for your transfer back to Nairobi International Airport, (upgrade to a light aircraft transfer for US$230.00 per person - subject to change) where you will bid your guide and group a fond farewell.

For those that have more time on their hands, speak with us about extending your trip with a few more nights spent in the Masai Mara or even in one of the neighbouring private conservancies, and complete your safari with a scheduled light aircraft flight back to Nairobi.
