After arrival at Durban Airport you will be met and start your journey to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi National Park, where you will stay at Rhino Ridge Safari lodge for 3 nights. In the afternoon, you can join your first shared games drive, if time allows.

Wake up before dawn for the morning game drive, starting at sunrise. Savour a hot coffee and an early-morning snack before boarding the safari vehicle and departing the lodge in search of animals. Spend 3 hours traversing the bush and looking out for wildlife before they retreat to the shelter of a tree in the heat of the day.
After returning to the lodge for a delectable hot breakfast, you’ll have time to relax and unwind, surrounded by serene African wilderness. Lounge at the pool, delve into a captivating book, have a blissful nap, or simply soak up the sights, sounds and scents of nature.
Afternoon tea is served before your next game drive, departing around 3:30 - 4:30 pm, depending on the time of year. Dinner is served before you settle in for the night to the symphony of the wild.
There will also be an Mpembeni Community visit included with your stay.
Spa treatments, guided game walks, and cultural tours are available at an additional cost.
Take time to go on a community walk, which is included in your rate. Or, if you wish to experience a safari on foot as well as from the vehicle, book a game walk with the lodge for ~ZAR 600 per person. Walks take +- 3 hours am/pm and are subject to availability - min 2 pax, max 4 pax per armed ranger.
Child policy for game walks:
- Children under 14 years not permitted.
- Children 14 - 15 years must be accompanied by 1 parent/guardian.
- Children 16 years & older allowed on walks without a parent/guardian.
Shared morning and afternoon game drives
After a shared morning game drive (time permitting) and breakfast, you will be transferred to Thonga Beach Lodge in Maputaland via Librodi Lodge. Once you arrive, you will settle in and then enjoy a shared afternoon activity.

Activities from Thonga Beach Lodge include the following:
- Guided snorkeling and use of snorkeling equipment
- Guided forest walks
- Kayaking
- Sundowners at Lake Sibaya
- Cultural tours to Mabibi Community
- Turtle tracking walks (seasonal between November-February)
Spa treatments, Open Ocean Experience, scuba diving and turtle tracking drives are available at an additional cost.

After your last shared morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Durban Airport via Librodi Lodge.
