Day 1: Johannesburg

On arrival at OR Tambo international airport you will be met and transferred to your overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Karongwe Private Game Reserve

This morning you will have an early transfer at 07.15 to the shuttle departure point back at the airport for your shuttle service transfer to the Greater Kruger region. The shuttle departs at 07.45 sharp and you will arrive at the meeting point at approximately 13.00. You will be met by the lodge vehicle and transferred the final stretch which will take about 20 minutes. 

Enjoy lunch at the lodge followed by check-in and some rest time before departing on your first afternoon game drive. 

Traversing over the 9000 hectares of supreme African bushveld, Shiduli Private Game Lodge is home to the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant) as well as a wealth of other creatures. Our open vehicle game drives are perfect for game viewing. Enjoy a sundowner while the sun sets over the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains.

The magnificent game viewing makes for perfect photographic opportunities; enjoy the view of the Lowveld from a “kopje” amid the lush vegetation, huge variety of trees and over 365 different bird species. Game drives are conducted with our qualified game rangers and Shangaan trackers – who will share their vast experience of the African Bush and a chance to view Cheetah on foot.

Day 3: Karongwe Private Game Reserve

MORNING PROGRAMME

  • Wake Up Call at 05h00
  • Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate Served with Rusk’s in the Main Area
  • Morning Game Drive commence at 05h30 and return to the lodge at 08h30 – 09h00

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge followed by time at leisure to catch up on some reading, absorb the sites and sounds of being in the bush, lie by the pool, spoil yourself with a spa treatment or join an optional activity. 

AFTERNOON PROGRAMME

  • Afternoon Tea at 15h00
  • Afternoon Game Drive commence at 16h00 and return to the lodge at 19h00 – 19h30
  • Dinner is Served

Day 4: Cape Town

This morning after your last morning game drive and breakfast back at the lodge you will be transferred back to the shuttle meeting point for your return transfer to OR Tambo International Airport. The shuttle departs at approximately 11.30 and arrive in Johannesburg at 17.15. Departure flight to Cape Town should be booked for 19.00 or later. 

On arrival in CApe Town you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the city centre. 

Day 5: Cape Town

Day 6: Cape Town

Second day on the Hop-on Hop-off City Sightseeing Tour. 

Day 7: Cape Town

Full day at own leisure for optional activities in and around Cape Town. Our top recommendations include:

  • Cape Peninsula Tour - visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Rserve, Cape Point and the commical penguins of Boulders Beach
  • Cape Winelands Tour - visit Stellenbosch and Franschhoek 
  • Visit to the lively V&A Waterfront where there are a variety of shops, markets, restaurants activities and attractions to enjoy
  • Paragliding from Signal Hill or Lions Head
  • Sky Diving
  • Quad biking, sandboarding and/or bumper balls in the Atlantis sand dunes

Day 8: End of Itinerary

Today you will be transferred back to Cape Town International Airport for your departure flight and onward travels.
