Cape Town is one of the most beautifully situated cities in the world. Take the cable car or walk up Table Mountain, visit the colourful Malay quarter or meander through the wonderful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Browse through the vibrant Greenmarket Square, take a boat trip to Robben Island or simply relax on the beach.
Days at leisure to explore Cape Town
Currently your days are at leisure. We have not included any touring as some people will want to hire a rental car for complete flexibility, others will want to enjoy some private touring and yet others may want to do some soft adventure activities or fun scheduled tours. We can discuss all the options with you.
A visit to the top of Table Mountain is a must – perhaps allow enough time to do a short hike on the mountain to enjoy the tranquility & fynbos mountain vegetation. If you like shopping and experiencing the local scene, there are some vibrant street markets at Greenmarket Square and St Georges Mall with lots of alfresco cafes nearby.
We can arrange some great tours for you – take the boat cruise to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated, a walking or cycling tour of the city, visit the Cape Winelands with wine-tasting at boutique wine estates, or enjoy a trip to the Cape Peninsula, perhaps with some optional cycling if you like to keep active.

Today you are collected by your guide for a private transfer to Cape Town Airport in time for your scheduled flight from Cape Town to Durban. Note the flight is not included in the tour price at this stage.
On arrival at Durban airport, you are met and transferred to Thanda Game Reserve. (2½ hours).

Today you have a private road transfer from Thanda Game Reserve to the Kosi Border Post where you proceed through the border formalities. You continue by luxury 4×4 to White Pearl Resort.
At White Pearl, you can be as active or relaxed as you wish. Anglers, divers and kayakers are in for a treat as the Ponta Mamoli bay is known for its rich marine life, spectacular coral reefs and warm, clear waters. A range of dive courses is on offer including Open Water Padi courses as well as a shorter Discover Scuba course. Snorkeling and Dolphin-viewing boat trips are also available throughout the year.
On land, horse riding, turtle watching in season (from November to February), and relaxing massages in the privacy of your own suite are just some of the leisurely activities you can enjoy at this unique beach side paradise.
Road transfer and charter flight from White Pearl to Maputo
Today you have a road transfer from White Pearl Resort to Ponto D’Ouro (45 minutes) for your charter flight to Maputo Airport. This scenic flight will take approximate 30 minutes.
You will need to purchase a flight to Johannesburg – we will quote separately for this, or you can add on a night to explore the historic city of Maputo…
Note: The helicopter has a maxim luggage restriction of 12kg so you would need to travel light.
