HOOKED - "Hold the Sauce" in Sayulita

DAY 1

WELCOME TO SAYULITA!  

HOOKED has found the perfect oceanside villa for you to hang your hat with like-minded people for the ultimate ALCOHOL-FREE Mexican Experience!

We ask that you find your own way to our Sayulita home as people will be arriving from various places making a group pick-up difficult.  Uber will cost you only $30 USD per direction.  IF YOU HAVE A SMALL GROUP we can organize a pick-up in a suburban.  Round-trip cost for this service would be $175USD

What's on the agenda for day 1 you ask?  - An in-house MEET and GREET dinner where we get to know our group members!

DAY 2

Every morning our lady of the house Alma will have different juices and smoothie options as well as Mexican egg creations

We thought we would start your adventure with a FULL SENSORY  Sayulita Food tour.   Might as well get you familiar with the different eating establishments that are only steps away from our villa.

Here is what you can expect....

"Explore and enjoy this magic surf town! Sayulita is a small surf beach town with incredible food and drinks. This tour will take you to discover the hidden gems of Sayulita and give you time to go on your own to shop, go to the beach, surf or just explore r.  Eat and Drink (non-alcoholic of course) your way through Sayulita. Learn about the town and its favorite culinary spots!

Dinner if you still have  space in your belly -  is at your leisure

DAY 3

We go out to las Marietas Islands for the day ~ 

  on a 60 Ft. Luxury Catamaran ( NO Sails )

We will explore  the Back Side of the Islands  ( NOT the Cave of Love/Hidden Beach )

The 2nd Island is absolutely Beautiful ( actually nicer then the Cave )

Then its off to  La Nopalera Beach & snorkel around the Caves

Enjoy Nature - Play - Snorkel - Swim - Relax & See the Blue Footed Boobie  (yes you read that right ) Birds

After our time there we have a fresh made lunch And then stop at a Nice Beach to let out ALL the water toys...

Lily Pad - Paddle Boards & have a fun dive competition off our Diving Platform !

DAY 4

It's off to Puerto Vallarta we go!

We have a 10:30 am  appointment at Choco Museo  https://www.chocomuseo.com/mexico/puerto-vallarta/

Here we will participate in a Bean to Bar workshop that lasts roughly 2 hours.   Grind, mold, taste, roast, and learn the history of cacao and chocolate.

If you feel you might have overindulged... don't worry we are ziplining in the afternoon!  You will have a chance to either work off or release those calories!

We will stop at the village of Bucerias on our way home.  Dinner will be at your leisure here.

DAY 5

Have you noticed that every morning  Alma has served a different type of coffee?  FUN right?  We encourage you to have a full sensory experience of  the various roasts Mexico offers.

We hit the hills today so pack your water bottles.  HOOKED has hired a guide for your MONKEY MOUNTAIN hike. We might not need the guide but better safe than sorry.  Monkey Mountain is rumored to have stray dogs... the guide would help here and if the group splits (as some might not want to complete the journey ) it's always good to have a person that can help.  2.5 miles up / 5 miles round trip!  3-4 hour adventure depending on the group

Once the hike is complete enjoy the afternoon and dinner at your leisure.

DAY 6

Sit by the pool, rent a bike,  get a massage, take a surf lesson or even go horseback riding on the beach!  These are all great ideas for the day...

Have an early dinner  at your leisure 

This evening we put on our dancing shoes.... Our plan is to learn the  Jarabe Tapatio which is often referred to as the National Dance of Mexico. This popular dance is a dance that represents courtship. The costumes for the Mexican Hat Dance are colorful and traditional. During the dance, the man tosses his hat on the ground.  Dancing when alcohol-free is a big hurdle for many.   HOOKED encourages a dance lesson in the countries we visit.  It's such an amazing form of expression and FUN!

We have broken barriers with our dancing lesson, those that don't have small children in tow let's find some live music and hit the floor!

DAY 7

You have talked to locals, you have seen some sights, you have listened to the stories of fellow travelers... Anywhere you want to return to?  Any suggestions for other group members?

The day is yours to fill... Think CHRISTMAS... silver jewelry shopping anyone?

4:00 PM - The fun begins!  IN HOUSE... we will be learning how to make hot sauce followed by a hot sauce challenge for those that dare!  Get your phones out for some interesting videos!

Over our farewell dinner provided brainstorm destinations for your next  HOOKED adventure.  We are a new company and we are listening!  

DAY 8
