After a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast transfer from the hotel in Munich to your hotels near Oberammergau.

Oberammergau Passion Play 

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get ready for the highlight of the tour - the Oberammergau Passion Plays. Taking place only every ten years, the plays are a definite highlight not to be missed!  
With the performance taking place in the afternoon, lunch is served in the beautiful  region of  Oberammergau. 

Have dinner in Oberammergau during the break, and return to your hotels after the play.

Eagle's Nest and Königssee 

After a good night's sleep and hearty breakfast say goodbye to Oberammergau and transfer to Berchtesgaden. 

Today's first highlight is a visit to Kehlsteinhaus, better known as the "Eagle's Nest". As one of the few undamaged monuments of the Hilter era, the NS regime made plans for war and mass destruction from up here.  Designed by Martin Bormann, the stunning location high up in the mountains was chosen to overshadow the horrors of World War II. 

Return to Berchtesgaden for lunch. 

In the afternoon, head out on a boat ride on the beautiful Lake Königssee surrounded by the Berchtesgadener Alps. At the end of the lake, visit the famous church, St. Bartholomew from the 12th century, named after the patron of alpine farmers and dairymen. The church is only accessible by boat or via a long hike across the mountains. 

Continue to Bad Reichenhall for check-in and dinner at your hotel.

16:30 Return to Bad Reichenhall by coach 

We start the morning with a walk around the Mirabell palace and through the very famous Mirabell Garden.

After enjoying the Baroque garden with its stone-dwarfs we continue via the Mozartsteg (small bridge) over the river Salzach to Getreidegasse. This road has not changed much since medieval times.  Craftsmen are still proud of their shop signs which some of them go back a few hundred years.

Our walk continues via Alter Markt, Franziskaner Church (with the old asylum-seeker symbol) through the Domplatz into the Cathedral (Salzburger Dom).

After a silent adoration of this beauty, we walk through the Petersfriedhof and pass the catacombs (where Christians built the first church in the mountain, hidden from the Roman occupiers who forbid Christianity by the death penalty. The walk ends at St. Peters Cathedral. Mozart himself was playing here.  

After our lunch break, free time in Salzburg. 

16:30 Transfer back to your Hotel in Bad Reichenhall.

Enjoy your final breakfast in Bad Reichenhall before check-out en departure. 

Lunch is served en-route by the idyllic Lake Chiemsee. Continue to the Munich International Airport for your return flight home.
