Day 1: Amboise

Arrive in Paris Charles De Gaulle in the morning.  

From the Airport, board your regional train to Loire Valley (direct train - 2 hours).

Arrive at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps train station and take a taxi to reach your hotel the Manoir Saint Thomas (Approx. 30 minute's drive) - (not included).

Day 2: Amboise

Today, enjoy a full day to explore the Loire Valley.

The magnificient Chenonceau Castle, spanning the Cher river is probably the most romantic castle in Loire Valley. An exceptional site not only because of its original design, the richness of its collections, its furniture and its decorations, but also because of its destiny, since it was loved, administrated and protected by women, who were all extraordinary and who, for the most part have marked history.

Your tour continue with a stop in an authentic winery in Chenonceau AOC.

You will discover the vines and tour the cellar and get to nkow more about the large variety of Loire valley wines. The visit will be followed by a gourmet picnic accompanied with wine from the estate.

In the afternoon, you will get the chance to visit a 2nd Loire Valley Castle.

The spirit of Leonardo Da Vinci hovers over the Castle of Clos Lucé at Amboise, mixed with the memory of each distinguished guest who has shared in the memorable moments of the estate. The epic history of this rose-bricked dwelling, built in creamy white tuffeau stone on ancient Gallic-Roman foundations, begins under the reign of Louis XI, in 1471, Here, Leonardo Da Vinci breathed his last and escaped the devastation of the French Revolution.

Day 3: Amboise

Today, enjoy a full day gourmet experience  with a local guide.

Spend an unforgettable day experiencing with a French local to discover the history, culture, food, and wine of the Loire Valley.

The day begins by a Food market tour where you will meet local farmers, producers, merchants and choose the ingredients for your meal from the range of seasonal, local products. 

After a wander in the old town, head towards your local guide's countryside home.

You can join your guide and prepare and taste the dishes. She will share her cooking skills and knowledge. Or if you prefer you can enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace or in the terrace.

Enjoy lunch. You will share a typical and  “convivial” moment.

In the afternoon, continue with a winery visit and wine tasting in Vouvray.

Day 4: Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

Day 5: Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

Today, enjoy a full day gourmet guided tour.

Start with the visit of a famous cheese factory and discover how Livarot and Pont l'Evêque are made. The visit will be followed by a yummy cheese tasting.

In the afternoon, continue with the guided visit of a Calvados distillery. You will visit the cellars and enjoy a tasting session in the former cider press room. A unique experience !

On your way back you will stop in very picturesque villages such as Beuvron en Auge.

Day 6: Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

Private full day guided tour with your expert guide of Normandy landing beaches.

During the day, you will step on this historical beach where so many died. You will see German bunkers and monuments everywhere. And you will be able to pay your tribute to the fallen. Your local tour guide will remind you of what was at stake in June 1944 and of the incredible planning needed for Operation Overlord to be a success.

You will discover a real open air museum, the Historical Area of the Battle of Normandy brings together all museums and places of interest remembrance connected with D-Day

Day 7: Saint Malo

Today, you will be transferred by private vehicle from your hotel in Bayeux to Saint Malo with a stop for a guided tour of Mont Saint Michel.

Sitting majestically just off the coast of Lower Normandy in the Gulf of Saint-Malo is one of the world’s most breath taking and memorable sites, Mont Saint-Michel. The tidal island is significant for its construction of medieval structures built as if stacked upon one another and crowned with the star attraction, the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel.

The charming walled town of Saint-Malo features heavily both in local myth and modern literature. And once you’ve visited, you can easily see why. The town’s heavily armed defences and location at the very edge of the land cut a striking picture in the landscape. The town was founded as early as the 1st Century AD and soon after became a prominent Roman fort.
