On arrival at Windhoek International Airport, the guests meet the air transfer to Okonjima Bush Camp.
The Luxury Bush Camp is situated in a wilderness area, 3km from the Main Camp. The Luxury Bush Camp will offer the same high standards as Okonjima Main Camp. It consists of eight- thatched African-style chalets and a main lapa-style complex housing reception, lounge with fire place, kitchen, dining area and curio shop. The building is shaped rather like a camel-thorn pod, with a campfire area in its curve that overlooks a waterhole, and a swimming pool to one side. Inside the lapa, amongst loosely scattered kelim rugs, are curved leather and kelim-covered sofas and easy chairs and wooden coffee tables with a good selection of books on Namibia and reading matter about Okonjima and the activities of the AfriCat Foundation. Each unique African-style chalet is completely secluded and private, and are between 80m – 100m apart. The chalets are a combination of earthy orange clay walls, khaki-green canvas and thatched roofs, complete with stone birdbath in front. The front 180 degrees is comprised of canvas panels which may be rolled up inviting you to enjoy your private “bushveld” vista. There is a low wall at the bottom, and the canvas sections also have gauzed windows if guests prefer them rolled down. The chalets are sectioned into a bedroom area with a double bed, a small alcove to one side with easy chairs and a couch that doubles up as an extra single bed for a third person. In the Alcove are coffee-and-tea-making facilities as well as a mini bar. On the other side of the bedroom section, behind a partial wall snaking upwards, is the bathroom area with double washbasin, shower cubicle and separate toilet. These chalets are more than a place to sleep. They are a place to enjoy, and to relax in.

Flight by light aircraft to Damaraland Camp. Overnight at Damaraland Camp on a full board basis with activities included.
Situated on the north slopes of the Huab River terraces is a camp that practices holistic tourism. The Damaraland Camp integrates the local community, environment and wildlife, offering a true wilderness experience in magnificent surroundings. Eight twin tents in east African style face the southern view, each with en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers, basin and toilet. There is also a family unit comprising two meru tents connected by a bathroom.
Shaded verandas afford a place to sit and read, catch up on mail or just enjoy the endless views. The lapa combines dining and social area, with an open fire for the chilly evenings. A small rock pool nestles at the foot of an ancient waterfall in a nearby ravine. Desert adapted elephant frequent the dry river lines along with an amazing variety of other wildlife. Strange plants play host to stranger insects and your guide brings insight to the questions and answers of survival in a desert environment.
The area offers excellent walking and mountain biking for the more adventurous. Please, at all times, keep in mind that there are no fences between you and the environment and that the animals are wild.
