Fly out to the desert and an amazing start to your Namibia adventure at Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. A whole host of activities on offer here from exploring the dunes in various modes of transport, and indeed on foot, star gazing in this dark sky reserve, San rock paintings, Deadvlei the list goes on. How about a chopper flight over the dunes!?
Hot air balloon safari
Enjoy the wonderful scenic flight along the Skeleton Coast to Swakopmund. Explore the beaches and town and dabble in some ocean based activities.
Fly up to the far north of Namibia, on the border with Angola to one of the most remote camps in the country. A true wilderness and a fantastic opportunity to meet the Himba people in a genuine and sensitive setting.
Meet your guide for the road section of the safari. Venture into the incredibly diverse Damaraland, passing Twyfelfontain and the rock art on your way. Game drives through the dry river beds and sparse desert landscapes the following day. Lots of desert adapted plants and animals to find, including if you're super lucky the desert elephants!
Set off for Etosha. Relax in camp and enjoy the wildlife coming to drink at Andersson's water hole. Take advantage of the photographic hide. Game drives in Etosha National Park itself and in the private reserve on the way back as well.

Today you will drive back to Windhoek and connect to a flight to Johannesburg. Overnight at a hotel of your choice (for example the InterContinental at the airport, own arrangements).
Fly up to Dar es Salaam and connect to Arusha where Machweo will meet you.
Enjoy the morning at Onsea, before Chem Chem pick you up for the roughly two hour drive to camp, arriving in time for lunch. Time to catch up with old friends!
Hill climb at sunrise

Chem Chem will take you up to the Manyara airstrip. Fly up to Kogatende and the very north of the Serengeti, right on the border with Kenya. With a little bit of luck, I'll be there to meet you! We will be with a guide from Lamai and our own private vehicle. So we make our own plans, just us in the vehicle. The Mara River, the Kuria Hills, the great migration, ours to explore from the finest camp in the area.

Return to Kilimanjaro or Dar Es Salaam for your flight home.
