Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit where, upon arrival you’ll transfer to Kapama Private Game Reserve, located between the Blyde River Valley and Kruger National Park.
Kapama is home to over 40 different species, including the Big Five: elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. After checking in at River Lodge, enjoy high tea before heading out with your ranger for an afternoon game-drive. En route, stop for sundowner cocktails and watch the sun set over the distant peaks of the Drakensberg Mountains.
As darkness falls, look out for the bush’s nocturnal animals on the night drive back to the lodge, where dinner will be served this evening.
Wake up to fantastic daybreak views of the African bush before embarking on an early morning game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle.
Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast and then spend the rest of the morning and afternoon at leisure, with a variety of options to entertain you. Later, embark on another game drive and, as the sun sets, look out to see the nocturnal animals that come out to hunt.
