In the morning, your German-speaking guide will greet you at your hotel, and your Namibia tour begins with an orientation tour of Windhoek. You'll gain an initial insight into the history, culture, and architecture of the Namibian capital. Afterwards, you'll travel along a scenic route to the south of the country. Your destination for the day is Sesriem, the gateway to the Namib Desert. Along the way, you'll take a break in the small, charming and quirky desert hamlet of Solitaire. A stop here is worthwhile not only to take a breather, but also to try the legendary apple pie, which is available at a reasonable price and has long enjoyed cult status among travelers.
Your accommodation near Sesriem is beautifully situated on the edge of the vast dune belt of the Namib. After check-in, there's time to enjoy the view of the red-gold desert landscape from the terrace. In the evening, a delicious dinner awaits you – the perfect end to an eventful day.
Sossusvlei & Dead Vlei – Desert Magic in the Morning Light
Before sunrise, you'll set off for the Namib-Naukluft National Park to experience the famous Sossusvlei dunes in the magical early morning light. You'll hike through the mesmerizing dune landscape to the surreal Dead Vlei, where centuries-old, dead acacia trees rise like silent sculptures from the parched clay soil. Another exciting day awaits you today in Etosha National Park. You'll cross the park from west to east in a tour vehicle – a varied journey with numerous stops at watering holes and consistently fascinating animal sightings. There's a good chance you'll once again spot herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, antelope, and perhaps even big cats. The landscape changes noticeably as you travel through the park, from open savannah to denser bushland – each region has its own character and its own animal inhabitants.
In the afternoon, you'll leave the park via the eastern Lindequist Gate and continue towards Tsumeb. You can end the day in peace and quiet at your lodge.

After crossing the border into Botswana, you'll reach your lodge on the Chobe River, which blends beautifully into the surrounding nature. The tranquility of the river and the expansive grounds immediately invite you to relax. In the afternoon, a special experience awaits you: "Cast off" for a safari boat cruise on the Chobe River. As you glide over the water, with a little luck, you'll enjoy close encounters with wildlife.
