11-day Cape Adventure

Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival in Cape Town transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure exploring the wide variety of retaurants, shopping, entertainment and attractions at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Your hotel is centrally located in the heart of the Waterfront, within easy walking distance of all of these.

Day 2: Cape Town

This morning enjoy a fun Scootour down the slopes of Table Mountain. In the afternoon perhaps do a Lions Head hike. Late afternoon take the cableway to the top of Table Mountain for spectacular views and sunset.

Day 3: Simon's Town

This morning embark on a historical tour of Robben Island. You will also have time to add an additional adrenaline activity - why not try skydiving or paragliding for a bird's eye view?! In the afternoon travel through to Simon's Town where you will spend the next few days.

Day 4: Simon's Town

Today you will enjoy a unique tour of the Cape Peninsula - via side-car!!

See the penguins at Boulders Beach, visit Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, travel over one of the world's most spectacular roads, Chapman's Peak and travel along the beautiful Atlantic Seaboard.

Day 5: Simon's Town

Enjoy another active day out and about. Start with a morning kayak paddling trip along the coast, see the penguins again and during season possibly whales or dolphins.

Hire a bike and take a cycle along the False Bay Coastline to Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. Alternatively enjoy a surf lesson from Muizenberg Beach. You might also like to do some stand-up-paddling from the Simon's Town harbour or enjoy a hike in the surrounding mountains.

Day 6: Simon's Town

Today you might choose to go for a Shark Cage Diving adventure (Feb-Sep), or take a boat trip to either Seal Island or to Cape Point, exploring ocean caves, stunning cliff faces and the most spectacular view of Cape Point from offshore.

Day 7: Hermanus

Today enjoy a beautifully scenic coastal drive around False Bay to Gordons Bay where you will visit the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve for a hike to Crystal Pools. This is a popular and moderate hike to a series of mountain pools in a kloof.

Continue to hermanus and enjoy an afternoon of quad biking through the vineyards and a fun zip-lining activity.

Day 8: Hermanus

This morning you have the option of a shark cage diving adventure from Gansbaai, a boat-based whale watching excursion (May-Nov) and/or a wine tour in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Hermanus also offer a number of other outdoor activity options as well as hiking and walking trails.

Day 9: Stellenbosch

Today travel to the Cape Winelands for some wine tastings and lunch at an award winning gourmet restaurant. Arrive at your hotel on a popular wine estate after lunch and enjoy all the facilities on offer here.

Day 10: Stellenbosch

This morning experience a tour of the Franschhoek wine Valley via bicycle, including 2 wine tastings. Have a relaxed picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon at leisure at Spier.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

This morning transfer back to Cape Town International Airport for departure.
