Day 1: Moshi

Today you will arrive in Tanzania. Makasa will pick you up from thel airport and will bring you to Moshi.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Today your safari starts in Tarangire National Park. This magnificent  area is characterized by rolling country, the gorge (a deeply embedded river) which seldom runs dry, small swamps, acacias and the enormous baobab trees. The game park has a relatively large population of African elephants. There are also buffalos, cheetahs, hyenas and lions to be seen.

Days 3 - 5: Ngorongoro Crater

We will spend three nights (two full days) in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain. The game drives in this park are exceptional and game viewing incredible. This park offers the best opportunity of viewing Cheetah, Leopards and Lions.

Days 6 - 7: Ndutu

Depending of the season you will spend two nights in Ndutu (January, February, March) or on the North of Serengeti (July, August, September). When we know your travelseason we will advise you about where the migration will be most probaly. When you are lucky you will witness the annual Great Migration!

Day 8: Karatu

In the morning there will be still some time to enjoy Serengeti National Park. In the late morning you will drive to Karatu.

Day 9: Karatu

In the morning we will drive to the crater. Ngorongoro is a unique crater known as a Caldera.  A Caldera is the aftereffect of a volcanic collapse, an implosion rather than explosion, Ngorongoro was formed some two million years ago. The Crater itself measures an average of 18 Kilometers in diameter and approximately 700 meter vertical drop and is home to 25000 large animals. The crater is one of the prime areas to observe the endangered Black rhino and black manned Lions.

Day 10: End of Itinerary

Today you will drive back to the airport for your flight home.
