A typical day on safari begins with a pre-dawn wake-up call and a light breakfast before heading out for an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. You'll explore the bush with experienced guides and trackers, spotting everything from the Big Five to smaller, fascinating creatures.
After a few hours, you'll return to camp for a hearty brunch and some leisure time, often spent relaxing by the pool or enjoying a siesta.
In the afternoon, indulge in high tea before setting off on another game drive, where the golden hour provides perfect light for photography. As the sun sets, you'll stop for sundowners in a picturesque location, then continue the adventure back to the lodge for a delicious dinner, sharing stories of the day's sightings around the campfire.
The day concludes with stargazing and perhaps a nightcap, soaking in the sounds of the African night.
