Tarangire National Park

Breakfast at 0700am. Pick up from your hotel in moshi at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park (2,850 sq km or 1,005 sq mile’s) for game drives. Lunch picnic there after lunch continue with afternoon game viewing in the park, a home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more… Over 450 species of birds have been observed.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National park

Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes about 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai George is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has the amazing landscape that resulted from the tectonic forces which created the Great Rift Valley million of years ago. Then in the late evening the game drives to Serengeti and overnight at Serengeti Wild Camp full board.

Serengeti National Park/ Ngorongoro Highland

After breakfast, morning game drives at Serengeti National Park, and then later afternoon drive to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has the amazing landscape that resulted from the tectonic forces which created the Great Rift Valley million of years ago. And then drive to Nyani Campsite in Central Serengeti for overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/Moshi.

This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife.  Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily.  Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators like cheetah.  Enjoy lunch by the hippo pond before commencing your drive back to Arusha/Moshi .
