Welcome to the magnificent Mother City!
You will be collected at your accommodation at 11am to visit one of Cape Town’s amazing markets – the Old Biscuit Mill or Oranjezicht City Farmers Market (Saturdays), the Palms Market Woodstock, Waterfront Food Market, Mojo Market,Hout Bay Harbour Market, or Tokai Earth Fair Market. Depending on the day of the week and the weather, we will go for a wine - or beer tasting or sundowners.
For dinner we will feast at the social 18 seater table in the home of a local chef who will be serving a 5 course menu and wine!
We take the scenic route along the Atlantic Seaboard towards the Southern Peninsula. We pass through beautiful coastal conservation villages and head along the world-renowned Chapman’s Peak coastal drive on our way to Cape of Good Hope.
We enter Cape Point National Park and enjoy its wonderful array of flowers from the Cape Floristic Kingdom, and if we are lucky some baboons, ostriches or antelope.
Here we can choose between a coastal foraging experience, inclusive of foraged lunch and snacks or a botanical cocktail workshop where you will forage for wild herbs and edible flowers and learn how to expertly use them in your gin cocktail, followed by lunch in one of the world renowned restaurants in Constantia.
On our return we visit the African Penguin colony in Simon’s Town.
We continue to one of the legendary wineries in the area, to reminisce over the beautiful day whilst sipping on wine in one of the oldest wine producing regions in South Africa.
Return to the city between 5-6pm.
Join a culinary journey through Cape Town, showcasing some of the best of South Africa’s artisanal producers and creative spaces. From cheesemakers to chocolatiers, charcuterie to craft beer breweries, world renowned wines and traditional snacks.
First stop is a coffee tasting and tour at one of the oldest artisan coffee roasters in South Africa. From here we head to the Company’s Gardens for a walk and some local snacks, and then we go to Woodstock – a vibrant hidden gem on the outskirts of town for a craft beer & food pairing.
Now for something sweet! A tour of a chocolate factory, complete with tasting and a hot chocolate to follow.
Next we start our walking tour up Bree Street, Cape Town’s coolest strip, coveted by locals and tourists alike. Along the way we will get our teeth into South Africa’s favourite snack - biltong - before heading off to the iconic and colourful district of Bo Kaap to sample the delights of the Cape’s Eastern traditions, including samosas and koeksisters.
Finish the day with a wonderful cheese platter accompanied by one of SA’s best wines whilst chatting to the cheesemaker.
Mountain bike or hike through the vineyards and mountains before taking an afternoon foodie walk through the historic town of Stellenbosch, with stories, bites and tastings along the way.
Discover day-to-day life in Kayamandi “sweet home” township on the outskirts of Stellenbosch and meet the locals.
After an insightful walking tour with your guide, a Xhosa Mama will welcome you in her home. Sit back and listen to her stories about township life and the customs and traditions of its people while you enjoy some of the dishes that Nelson Mandela grew up on.
For the remainder of the afternoon, we will visit a few wine farms and enjoy delicious wine and views before having dinner in the oak lined streets of Stellenbosch.

Our first stop is the Babylonstoren Garden where we will have a tour of the garden lead by one of the gardeners. With over 300 edible plants, you are in for a treat!
We will stop for a wine tasting at Dieu Donne wine estate with sweeping views of the Franschhoek valley before we take the scenic route to Elgin, just in time for lunch at SALT where your perspective on 'salt' might actually change a bit...
You have now entered the land of apples, cool climate wines and warm hearts! Lunch will be followed by a wine & chocolate pairing, hosted by the winemaker and his bubbly wife who will entertain you with their wine stories.
The evening will be spent on a peaceful wine farm where you can enjoy a tapas dinner or we can arrange a braai (a South African barbeque).
Visit the quaint and pretty river town of Stanford. Take a stroll along the river and sample some of the food from the local restaurants. Taste a variety of cheese from the Kleinrivier cheese farm. In the evening, stay on a working farm with its stunning decor and enjoy the alfresco style meals, prepared with love from the kitchen.
Join us on a spectacular journey into the heart of whale watching & wine country, Walker Bay. The morning you can choose between land or boat based whale watching, nature walks, kayaking, horseriding, visiting the craft market or relaxing on the beach. The afternoon is spent sipping away on some of the world-renowned wines of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
From Hermanus to Cape Town we will drive along the spectacular Clarens Drive where the fynbos covered mountains make a sheer drop into the ocean. We will stop along the way on a wine farm for a picnic and to watch the duck run (ducks running through the vineyard to eat snails), a more organic approach to pest control. A half an hour later we will stop off in Cape Town and you will be dropped off at your accommodation of choice.
