You arrive in Kasane from your mobile safari at lunchtime where you will be met by your transfer driver who will take you by road to Victoria Falls in neighbouring Zimbabwe.
You will be staying at the lovely 528 Victoria Falls Guesthouse and after you have checked in and relaxed in your room it will be time to head out onto the Zambezi for a sunset and dinner cruise on the "Malachite"
The Malachite is a double-decked luxury pontoon vessel with a maximum capacity of 32 guests on a dinner cruise. After pickup and boarding, guests are offered a glass of sparkling wine to sip as they settle into the very comfortable furniture on the upper deck. From here you can photograph the mighty Zambezi with its hippos and crocodiles and enjoy the spectacle of the hundreds of birds flying back to their heronries as the sun sets.
After the sun has sunk below the river line, dinner is served on the lower deck of the vessel exemplifying the hallmarks of exquisite cuisine prepared on board by two Chefs. The rich aroma of locally sourced, fresh ingredients wafts around diners as the dishes are plated.
The journey should take a maximum of one and a half hours

After a hearty breakfast you will be able to enjoy a privately guided tour of the main attraction for the area - the mighty Victoria Falls.
Following lunch we will drive the short distance to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where we will be able to spend a few hours in the Siduli hide which is situated close to the waterhole below the Lodge. The Hide offers wildlife enthusiasts and photographers a unique and authentic opportunity to observe a variety of mammal, reptile and bird species that frequent this very busy waterhole.
Built to look like a termite mound the hide is completely unobtrusive, so as long as guests sit quietly, the animals are unaware of their presence and literally stroll by within a few feet, giving them an incredible and very close-up encounter with nature.

On your final full day in Victoria Falls you will be collected from the guesthouse and driven to Zambezi National Park for a morning game drive.
The small, but very scenic Zambezi National Park is upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. The park is bisected by a road to Kazungula, dividing it into a riverine side and a Vlei side.
The park plays host to a wide variety of larger mammals including elephant, lion, Cape buffalo and leopard. In addition to these charismatic members of the "big 5" there are herds of sable antelope, common eland, plains zebra, Southern giraffe, greater kudu, waterbuck and impala. In addition, many species of smaller wildlife can be seen here
Over 400 species of birds have been recorded within the Zambezi National Park. Pel's fishing owl, African skimmer, collared palm thrush, lanner falcon, goliath heron, African finfoot, rock pratincole and long-toed lapwing are often seen here darting around the river's edge.
The afternoon will be free at leisure to enjoy one of the many other activities available in Victoria Falls. These range from bungee jumping to flying over the Falls in a microlight or helicopter - the list is endless.
