Welcome to Kenya, and welcome to Africa!
After landing from your international flight, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Tamarind Tree Hotel to rest up for your safari the next day.
After a relaxing hearty breakfast - and perhaps a quick dip in the pool - you will be collected from the hotel and driven to Nairobi Tented Camp. Check-in and relax in your tent before lunch and later taking an afternoon game drive, returning for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast take a morning visit to the renowned Elephant Orphanage and then after lunch take an afternoon 4×4 game drive in the Nairobi National Park. Return for dinner and overnight at Nairobi Tented Camp.
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for the 10am scheduled flight to Olseki Airstrip in the Maasai Mara. You will be met on arrival and transferred by 4×4 vehicle to Porini Giraffe Camp (game drive en route). Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the new Mara Ripoi conservancy with a sundowner and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Early morning game drive viewing the best of Mara Ripoi and the Ol Kinyei conservancies. Return to camp for breakfast. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Night drive en route back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
After breakfast at camp we head into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a full day of game-viewing with a picnic lunch in the savannah that is the mara reserve. You will return to the camp in the early afternoon and following afternoon tea, head out on an evening game drive within Mara Ripoi Conservancy – stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a short night game drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
After breakfast check out and transfer to Naboisho Airstrip to board 11am scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival met and transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to check-in for your onward flight back to the stunning Kenya coast.
Upon arrival at Malindi airport you will be met by your driver who will transfer you beautiful Che Shale where you will spend 7 glorious nights of barefoot luxury!
It's not going to be easy to leave Che Shale, but unfortunately leave you must. After breakfast your driver will take you back to Malindi Airport for the Jambojet flight to Nairobi.
You will be met at the airport by a representative who will transfer you to the comfort of the Tamarind Tree once more where you can relax on your last full day in Kenya.
I highly recommend dining at Cultiva, an amazing fork to table experience in the Karen area of the city, but of course the Tamarind Tree restaurant is wonderful too.
Sadly all good things must come to an end and today it's time to leave Africa for your flight home. You will be collected at the hotel and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the journey back.
You will probably be planning your return to the world's most exciting continent on the way back...
