Day 1 - Arrive Casablanca - Rabat
Arrive at Mohamed V airport. Meet the driver then head north to your hotel for some much-needed rest after a long journey. If you have the energy feel free to wander and explore the local area.



Day 2 - Rabat - Chefchaouen
After breakfast we head north along the fertile Chaouya plain to Kenitra then throughtout the mountain road to Ouazane where we stop for lunch. We then drive east on the shadow of the wild, rugged Rif mountain range that defines the physical boundary between Europe and Africa to the charming town of Chefchauen. Chefchaouen lies between two mountains with its blue-washed Medina, probably the prettisest in the north and offers great opportunities for sightseeing to soak the atmosphere of this mixed culture of native Berbers and Muslims and Jewish refugees from Spain. You will wonder in the colorful Medina, Outa Lahmam square and the Kasbah.

Day 3 - Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen lies between two mountains with its blue-washed Medina, probably the prettiest in the north and offers great opportunities for sightseeing to soak the atmosphere of this mixed culture of native Berbers and Muslims and Jewish refugees from Spain. This morning with a local guide you will wonder in the colorful panoramic views of the blue town. Rest of the day at leisure.



Day 4 - Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fez
Scenic drive across the Rif mountains to join the fertile Saiss plain. You will encounter a varied landscape as you drive south with green forest, isoltaed villages and finally the olive groves which constitutes of the labels of this area. An unexpected Roman site lies on a rich river valley with dark Zerhoun mountain ridge as a back drop. Volubilis was once a prosper capital of the Roman province or Mauritania Tangitana and the south border of the Imperial road. You will have a chance to walk in this impressive site and get more insight of its history. To the east between two hills stands the holly town of Moulay Idriss. A walk through its narrow streets will enchant you before you head to Fes your final destination after a long but exciting journey.

Day 5 - Fez
Fez, the spiritual capital of Morrocco, is the most preserved medieval Islamic city in the world. With your guide you will enjoy a walking tour into Medina's narrow streets to discover its monuments and soak the unique atmosphere that only Fez can offer. The tour will include the tanneries, the pottery cooperative, the Medina, the souks and the Karaouine quarter. The afternoon is left for relaxation or own exploration.



Day 6 - Fez - Erfoud
Leaving the crowded Medina of Fez behind, you head to the villages of Ifrane and Azrou in the Middle Atlas. While traversing the cedar forest watch out for monkeys (Barbary apes)! The journey continues to the Cal du Zad in order to reach the Plateau de l'Arid and the small town of Midelt. The scenery keeps changing around you. After crossing the plain around Midelt, you reach the mountains of the High Atlas range and cross via Tizi n Talrehmt (the pass of the camel). On its Southern slopes the road drops smoothly down to the Ziz gorge and Tafilalet valley with its green oasis and palm groves. Colors, landscape, architecture, vegetation change again. The long but varied journey ends in Erfoud.

Day 7 - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
After a leisure morning at the hotel you will drive to Rissani, an old trading town where you will witness a culture mixture of Arabs, Berbers and Touaregs. You then continue to Merzouga in the foothills of Erg Chebbi dunes. Lunch in a local restaurant then camel ride to the luxury tented camp. Dinner will be served under the starry sky to enjoy the immensity and tranquility of the desert.
Approx 1 1/2 hour drive and 1 or 2 hour camel ride



Day 8 - Erg Chebbi - Todgha - Dades
Early morning climb the highest dune and watch the sunrise over Hammada. Camel ride back to Merzouga. Met the vehicle and head west along the southern slopes of the High Atlas to Tinejdad. On the way you stop to see the underground irrigation system before arriving in Tinerhir, the entrance to Todgha gorge. You enter the narrow gorge with tiny villages and fertile fields along the river forming a great contrast to the dry hills. the rock walls rise up to 300 m and attract the rock climbers from all over the world. Continue to Boumalene Dades with a side trip to the valley late afternoon for better photo opportunities.

Day 9 - Dades - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou
A short drive takes you to Kelaa Mgouna the capital of the rose valley then along the "1000 Kasbahs" route to Ouarzazate. Continue to the World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou probably the most preserved Kasbah in the south of Morocco and home to many famous movies. Late afternoon visit the Kasbah on foot for sunset.

Day 10 - Alt Ben Haddou - Taliouine - Ouled Berhil
This morning you head west for a complete change of scenery. The rock formations of the Anti Atlas punctured with deep gorges will enchant you during this journey. You will stop first at Tazenakhte, the capital of the Ait Ouaouzguite tribe famous for authentic Berber carpets before you cross the Anti Atlas to the fertile Souss plain. This region is also famous for the Safran and you will have a chance to stop in Taliouine to learn more about this valuable plant. While approaching Taroudante you will notice the large forest of the wild Argan tree that also generate a considerable income for the locals with famous Argan oil processing.

Day 11 - Ouled Berhil - Taroudante - Essaouira
After breakfast a short drive to Taroudante to visit its souks and remparts. You then drive to Agadir, the biggest beach resort in the Atlantic before heading north along the coast to the charming city of Essaouira.

Day 12 - Essaouira
Essaouira, the old pirate's hideout offers a multitude of small squares encircled by Portuguese Berber and French battlements. the pace of life is more relaxed here and the whitewashed streets lend a truly Mediterranean air to the city. A local guide will take you around on a cultural orientation tour. You will quickly integrate the peaceful atmosphere of this little Atlantic retreat and surely try some fresh fish for dinner



Day 13 - Essaouira - Marrakech
After breakfast you take the ultimate journey to Marrakech, your final destination. You may wish to stop in one of the Argan oil woman cooperatives to learn about this valuable oil. Evening visit the animated Jamaa El Fna square.

Day 14 - Marrakech
Full day sightseeing of the red city of Marrakech with 1 hour horse carriage. With a local guide you will visit the Bahia Palace, Dar Sid Said Museum and the Koutoubia mosque before you wonder in the colorful souks. After lunch you will take visit the famous Majorelle gardens. Rest of the day is left for own exploration and last minute shopping.



Day 15 - Marrakech Departure
After breakfast transfer to the airport for the flight home
