Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town Airport you are collected for your private transfer to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront where you stay at the Cape Grace Hotel for (3) nights. (1 x Luxury Room)

Day 2: Cape Town

This morning after your breakfast, you will be taken on your full day privately guided Cape Peninsula Tour, including entry fees and lunch.

We depart after picking you up at your hotel, along the spectacular Atlantic Seaboard. We drive through the coastal suburbs of Sea Point, Bantry Bay and Clifton. We will stop for a photo opportunity of Table Mountain's impressive Twelve Apostles. We then travel on past Bakoven and Llandudno which are marked by shipwrecks which fell foul to the infamous Cape winter storms, then on to the scenic fishing village of Hout Bay. An optional extra would be to board a boat to view the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island.

You will also head over the 600m heights of Chapman's Peak Drive, which is without a doubt one of the world's most spectacular mountain passes. You will also have a chance to watch Southern Right Whales frolicking just offshore from June to November.

Explore the rocky coastline and unique Cape Fynbos vegetation which is home to unique birdlife such as African Black Oystercatchers and Cape Sugarbirds amongst others. The opportunity is also there to view small animals such as the Cape Mountain Zebra, Bontebok, ostrich and Baboon as we enter the Cape of Good Hope National Park. Climb to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay, and stop at the south western most point of Africa - the fabled Cape of Good Hope. (A funicular is an optional extra for those who prefer)

Lunch (for your own account) will be at one of the restaurants of your choice after having been giving suggestions by your guide. We will visit Boulders Beach for an exciting close up encounter with African Penguins. Drive through the historical naval village of Simons town and over yet another spectacular mountain pass; Boyes Drive, where you will take in views of the quaint fishing harbour at Kalk Bay as well as the seaside villages of St James and Muizenberg.

Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens - with time to browse these magnificent gardens set on the slopes of Table Mountain before returning to the city.

Day 3: Cape Town

This morning after your breakfast, you will be taken on your half day privately guided Cape Town City & Table Mountain Tour, followed by your scheduled guided half day Robben Island Tour, including entry fees and lunch. (Please note that the Table Mountain Tickets are excluded and for your own account)

Take a step back in time and join us on an exploration of the “Mother City” – its views, its history and its people. Then join us on an emotional tour to the notorious prison where Nelson Mandela and other freedom fighters were incarcerated during the apartheid era.

Highlights include: Travel by cable car to the top of the world famous Table Mountain and enjoy spectacular views of the city (weather dependant); City orientation tour; The Castle of Good Hope – our first fort; Malay Quarter; Flower market; Green Market Square – our oldest market; Cruise from Cape Town to Robben Island and return with marvellous views of the city and Table Mountain; Bus tour of the island; Robben Island prison accompanied by a former prisoner; Nelson Mandela’s cell

Day 4: Stellenbosch

This morning after your breakfast, you will be taken on your full day privately guided Cape Winelands Tour, including entry fees and lunch.

Visit the Cape Winelands with its backdrop of majestic mountains, lush valleys, quaint villages and scenic vineyards.

Highlights include: Stellenbosch, tree lined streets, historical architecture, alfresco cafés and good shopping; Franschhoek Valley with its endless mountain vistas; Paarl – “the pearl of the Cape” – home to the Afrikaans language; Cape Dutch architecture – visit the acclaimed Boschendal Manor House; Wine tasting on some of the finest Cape Wine Estates; Cellar tour

Following your tour you are transferred to Delaire Graff Lodges & Spa where you stay for (2) nights. (1 x Deluxe Lodge - Garden View Room)

Day 5: Stellenbosch

You have the day at leisure to enjoy the facilities at your hotel.

Day 6: Okavango Delta

This morning you have an early start for your private transfer to Cape Town Airport. On arrival you depart on your flight from Cape Town to Maun, Botswana (OWN FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS). On arrival at Maun Airport you depart on your light aircraft flight to the Okavango Delta and Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp where you stay for (3) nights. (1 x Tent)

Day 7: Okavango Delta

You enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing activities at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp.

Day 8: Okavango Delta

You enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing activities at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp.

Day 9: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

You enjoy your last early morning activity (at discretion of your camp manager) and depart on your light aircraft flight to Kasane Airport. On arrival you have a road transfer across the border to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You stay at Victoria Falls Hotel for (2) nights. (1 x Deluxe Central Room)

Day 10: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast depart on a guided tour of the falls and Mpala Village. First stop is the Big Tree - a massive baobab many hundreds of years old with a girth of some 22 meters. The tour continues on to the Falls themselves, starting at Livingstone’s statue and Devil’s Cataract and proceeding through the rainforest to Danger Point. The total walk is 3kms with many spectacular view points along the way. Raincoats are available for hire at additional cost.

Depart for about 15 mins out of town towards airport when you take turning to Mpala Village. Guide will do the introduction. The village head will take the guests around the different homesteads in the surrounding area as well as the borehole. Guests will then be taken to the rural school where they will interact with the school children, teachers and headmaster. (Not possible in school holidays.) Depart back to town.

PLEASE NOTE: The falls are fullest in about June and lowest in about November due to the rains that fall.

In the afternoon you will be collected for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River including drinks (beer and wine) and light snacks. Transfer to the jetty for a cruise along the Upper Zambezi in the late afternoon. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Zambezi River in relaxation, with local wines, beers, soft drinks and snacks served during the trip. This trip often offers a magnificent chance to witness a spectacular African sunset. Cruise back to the jetty for transfer back to the hotel after sunset.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

You are transferred to the Victoria Falls Airport to depart on your flight to OR Tambo Johannesburg (OWN FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS). You have your own onward arrangements back home.
