Arrival in Cape Town: The Start of Your South African Journey

Your adventure begins the moment you land at Cape Town International Airport. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide, who will also be your dedicated driver throughout your South African experience.

From here, you will be transferred to Boschendal in Franschhoek for check-in. Enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by a guided site visit of the farm and its accommodation offerings. You will also indulge in a wine tasting, giving you a wonderful introduction to the celebrated flavours of the Cape Winelands.

Later in the afternoon, take some time to unwind and freshen up before ending the day with a traditional Braai dinner—an authentic and flavourful way to immerse yourself in the charm of Franschhoek.

Immersed in Nature, Flavour & Local Discovery

After a leisurely breakfast, your day begins with a Fynbos Experience, where you will explore the remarkable biodiversity of the Cape floral kingdom. Discover the rich cultural, medicinal, and culinary significance of indigenous plants as your guide shares fascinating insights into this uniquely South African ecosystem.

Thereafter, you will enjoy a farm-to-table lunch, showcasing the freshest seasonal produce and the authentic flavours of the region—all thoughtfully prepared to reflect Boschendal’s commitment to sustainability and local sourcing.

In the afternoon, you will be treated to a surprise activity, specially arranged to offer a unique and memorable addition to your journey. Details will be revealed on the day, adding an element of excitement and discovery to your experience.

The evening will be at your leisure to relax, unwind, and savour the peaceful atmosphere of Franschhoek.

Arrival in Cape Town & Leisurely City Evening

After breakfast at Boschendal, and once you have checked out, you will depart for Mount Nelson in Cape Town. Upon arrival, check in and settle comfortably into your accommodations.

Later in the day, you will join two other LCC Fam Groups. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure, giving you time to relax after your journey and soak in the vibrant energy of Cape Town. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner in the heart of the city, perfect for unwinding and savouring the local atmosphere.

Full-Day Adventure to Cape Point

After breakfast at Mount Nelson, set out on a scenic journey to Cape Point, one of South Africa’s most iconic landmarks, with planned surprises along the way offering unique insights and photo opportunities.

At Cape Point, explore the dramatic cliffs, breathtaking ocean views, and historic lighthouse, while your guide shares stories of the area’s history, wildlife, and natural beauty. Enjoy lunch at a charming local spot before continuing your afternoon exploration of the Cape Peninsula, including hidden gems and special stops that add a touch of surprise and delight.

Return to Cape Town in the early evening, where you can relax and unwind at Mount Nelson, before freshening up for an exquisite dining experience at Amura, the hotel’s signature restaurant.

Cape Town to Kapama River Lodge – Your Safari Begins

This morning, after breakfast,  you will be transferred to Cape Town International for your flight to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport and after collecting your luggage, you will proceed to Kapama River Lodge,  for check-in, and lunch.

Thereafter you will have some time to unwind and recharge before indulging in a game drive, where you will have the chance to encounter the stunning wildlife up close.

Once you have returned from your afternoon game drive, you will proceed to enjoy a delicious dinner in the lodge’s tranquil nature setting, surrounded by the sounds of the bush.

Morning & Afternoon Safari Adventures

You will begin your day with an early morning game drive, when the bush comes alive and wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before enjoying some leisure time—perhaps a relaxing swim, a spa treatment, or simply soaking in the lodge’s serene surroundings.

In the afternoon, you will embark on another game drive, exploring deeper into the reserve and seeking out the Big Five, as well as other fascinating species. As dusk falls, return to the lodge and indulge in a refined dinner, accompanied by the natural symphony of the African bush. 

Departure – Concluding Your Amazing Africa Adventure

After your final morning game drive and breakfast at the lodge, after completing your check-out, you will be transferred to the Airport, in time for your departure or onward journey, concluding your unforgettable Amazing Africa adventure.
