Day 1: Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town!

On arrival you will be transferred to The Bay Hotel by private vehicle where you will spend the next 4 days exploring the region.

The rest of the day is yours to unpack, unwind and explore at your leisure.

Enjoy a dinner on the beachfront many wonderful restaurants to choose from.

Day 2: Cape Town

The Bay Hotel is ideally located for all excursions in and around Cape Town.

There is plenty to do in Cape Town to suit most interests and the friendly staff at The Bay Hotel will be delighted to guide you through your choices.

Here are a few ideas for your first day in the city.

No holiday to Cape Town is complete without a trip up Table Mountain. You will ride a rotating cable car to 1067m above sea level where you will get to enjoy spectacular views of the city, it's mountains and beaches. There are several pathways which lead to lookout points. Enjoy an incredible sunset before you descend back down to the city and enjoy a night out in the town. Tickets can be arranged in advance to beat the queue.

Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, world renowned for its spectacular setting below the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and its magnificent display of the Fynbos Floral Kingdom. Enjoy a picnic and walk along the "boomslang"

Visit The Company Gardens which date back to the 1600's and enjoy lunch at the Company Gardens Restaurant.

Day 3: Cape Town

Take a scenic helicopter flight over the Cape Peninsula and end your day with a sunset boat cruise which leaves from the V&A Waterfront.

For the adventurous, hike up Lion's Head and paraglide down onto Camps Bay Beach.

Day 4: Cape Town

Enjoy a tour of the Cape Peninsula by private vehicle. Prices on application.

Hout Bay optional boat trip to see the seals at Seal Island; to fish on the rocks or sample fresh seafood at Mariners Wharf Restaurant

Noordhoek

Day 5: Stellenbosch

Take a private guided wine tour or be spontaneous and take the Franschhoek Wine Tram and enjoy lunch at one of the beautiful wine estates that the trams stops at.

Day 6: Stellenbosch

Day 7: Mluwati Concession

Today you will be transferred from Majeka House to Cape Town International Airport in a private vehicle, where you will board your domestic flight to Hoedspruit. You will be met by a representative and transferred to Hamiltons Tented Safari Lodge where you will enjoy the next 3 days of nature, wilderness and BIG 5 game viewing.

Day 8: Mluwati Concession

One of the first private concessions of the Kruger National Park, Mluwati provides some of Kruger’s most spectacular landscapes and an extraordinary variety of wildlife, birdlife and plantlife. Over the next three days you can indulge in twice daily game drives, guided bush walks, bush picnics, bird watching and BIG 5 game viewing (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant). Back at the lodge expect butlers on call and 19th century nostalgic decor.
