Day 1: Cape Peninsula

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to Cape Point Hideaway, your home for the next four nights. Positioned among fynbos-covered hills with sweeping ocean views, the villa offers a peaceful blend of privacy and style. Spacious living areas open onto a wooden deck with an infinity pool overlooking the mountains and Atlantic Ocean in the distance. Each room is thoughtfully designed with natural textures and local touches, creating an atmosphere of laid-back elegance. Settle in, breathe in the salt air, and enjoy a welcome dinner as the sun dips below the horizon.

Day 2: Cape Peninsula

After breakfast, you’ll head into Cape Point Nature Reserve, one of South Africa’s most iconic protected areas. Here you’ll explore dramatic cliffs, beaches, and unique flora and fauna, with the option to hike to the old lighthouse and viewpoints overlooking the Cape of Good Hope. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the reserve, allowing you to spend the day exploring at leisure before returning to the Hideaway in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Cape Peninsula

Today you’ll visit the historic naval town of Simon’s Town, known for its working harbor, naval base, and coastal charm. Afterwards, continue to Boulders Beach, home to the famous colony of African penguins. The sheltered coves here are ideal for swimming and viewing the penguins up close. You’ll then have time to enjoy lunch at one of the seaside cafés in Simon’s Town, Kalk Bay, or along the nearby coastline.

Day 4: Cape Peninsula

Your final full day is flexible and can be tailored to your interests. You may choose a relaxed day on the beach, hiking the trails in the area, or enjoying the tranquility of the Hideaway. Alternatively, a range of additional activities can be arranged, including:

  • Yoga and massage treatments at the villa
  • Horse riding along Noordhoek Beach
  • Fynbos Experience Guided Walk through the surrounding coastal vegetation
  • Fishing excursions along the Cape coast (four-hour nearshore charter for up to six guests)
  • Hot Huts mobile sauna session, offering a restorative heat therapy experience
  • Helicopter flights over the peninsula, or scenic transfers to and from the villa
  • Wine tasting and sunset views at Cape Point Vineyards
