Today you have the rare privilege to visit the fascinating Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site and the world’s largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera. Spend the day game viewing in one of the most spectacular places on earth! Photographic opportunities are abundant, and one often sees four of the Big Five in a short time. Enjoy a picnic lunch alongside the lake on the crater floor whilst soaking up the magnificent scenery.
The Serengeti is home to more than three million large mammals spread over vast endless plains. It is here that we may encounter the fascinating spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration, where one and quarter million wildebeest trek in columns of up to forty kilometres long in search of grazing, drawing with them plenty predators and numerous other species of game.
From January to March the herds can largely be found birthing their young in the southern area around Ndutu.

Depart for the Eastern Serengeti
The Eastern Serengeti is one of the most beautiful regions of the park, mountains, valleys and sweeping grassy plains with are lush in the green season dotted with granite outcrops and sliced through by meandering rivers.
Eastern Serengeti is also well known for its high concentration of Cheetah.
