Odyssey 5 Days

Upon arriving to Baltra Airport, you will be transferred to Odyssey Yacht at Puerto Ayora harbor. After settling in the yacht and lunch, the first visit will be to Santa Cruz Highlands, where you will see Galapagos Giant Tortoises in its natural habitat at a private reserve. After lunch, you will head to Dragon Hill at Santa Cruz Island, where you can walk through a trail that leads to a hyper-saline lagoon, that is frequently visited by flamingos, pintail ducks and other species of birds. End of the activities and dinner onboard.

Early start landing at Rabida Island, a red sand beach, with a salt water lagoon where flamingos are usually present, along with Darwin’s finches, and Galapagos Mockingbirds. After lunch, head to Chinese Hat, this island gets its name from being shaped like a Chinese hat. Lava formations can be seen on the western side of the island, formed under the sea and later raised upward, you will spot sea lions colonies resting here. End of the activities and dinner onboard.

Early in the morning, the yacht will take you to Darwin Bay, where you will encounter the native species of this place such as red footed boobies, and great frigate birds trying to attract females. You will also stumble upon Darwin’s Finches and native flora like mangroves and cactuses. After lunch, head to Genovesa Island, specifically to Prince Philips Steps also called El Barranco, the ascend to this place, takes you 100 feet above sea level, to be welcomed by a Palo Santo Forest and species like Nazca boobies. You will also have a panoramic view of all the Island from here. End of the day and dinner onboard.

After breakfast, the yacht will take you to Bartolome Island, famous for its Pinnacle rock and its beautiful landscapes where you can take amazing pictures. You can also practice snorkel at this island. After lunch, you will head to Sullivan Bay at Santiago Island where you can witness the rope lava flows because of its recent formation, and sea lions that rest through the shore. You can also practice shallow water snorkeling here.

At the beginning of the last day you will make a short visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz, where you will see Galapagos Giant Tortoises in its natural habitat at a private reserve. After this activity you will be transferred to Baltra Airport and take your flight back to the continent.
