7-Day Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park & the Okavango

Zambezi Sunset Cruise and Boma Traditional Restaurant for dinner

Arrival at Victoria Falls, sunset boat cruise, and Boma dinner.
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred to the A'Zambezi River Lodge – only 21km from the Victoria Falls Airport . You will be assisted with check-in and have a few hours to refresh and rest before being transferred to the Jetty for the Sunset Boat Cruise on the Zambezi River.

Sunset Cruise
Pick up time for the cruise will be 1600hrs and expect to be back at the hotel at about 1900hrs. Included on the cruise are return transfers, lots of drinks, snacks, and two hours of cruising.

GUIDED TOUR OF THE VICTORIA FALLS,  AFRICAN VILLAGE TOUR  + OPTIONAL TOURS

Guided Falls Tour, Artefacts Shopping and Helicopter flight

Guided Tour of the Falls - You will be picked up at 08h00 for the guided tour of the falls. This is a two-hour trip that includes the drive via the big baobab tree, part of the river before the falls, and the walk in the Vic Falls rain-forest. Includes return transfers, raincoats, mineral water, and the services of an experienced guide.

African Village Tour
After the tour of the falls, we will drive to the village, only 15 km from the town center, to have a glimpse into the real Zimbabwean rural life - again mineral water and refreshments are included and we will be back in town at about 12h30 in time for lunch.

Optional tours in the afternoon (own account).
The rest of the afternoon will be open for optional tours and options include elephant back safari, helicopter flights, and a night game drive with bush dinner.

FULL DAY SAFARI IN THE CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from your Victoria Falls will be at 07h30 for the 70km transfer to Chobe National Park through Zambezi National Park with good chances of wildlife spotting before we even get to the Chobe.

We will be at the Zimbabwe/Botswana border at 08h30 and after simple immigration formalities, we heard for the Chobe River Jetty for the 3hrs game cruise. We start with a river cruise into the park, with a chance to see lots of water birds along with the crocodiles, lurking hippos, African Buffalo, elephants. Refreshments are included.

After a one-hour lunch break at the Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar), we head off for a 3 hrs game drive, getting close to nature with specially adapted open 4 x 4 vehicles. Frequent lion sightings occur in Chobe, Eland, Sable, and Roan antelope are common at certain times of the year. Leopards are elusive but common in the area - You may be lucky! Mineral water and soft drinks are provided. The drive ends at 16h30 and you will be back at the hotel at 17h00.

AIR TRANSFER FROM CHOBE NATIONAL PARK TO OKAVANGO DELTA

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kasane Airport for the private air transfer to the Oddballs Enclave camp in the Okavango Delta. The camp is only accessible by air and it is one of the few that accepts children under 12 years of age.
On arrival, you will be assigned a tour guide who will be in charge of all your activities. It is with this guide that you will have to finalize your activities and make all arrangements, all included in the package. These include Mekoro rides, game walks, fixed-wing flight over the delta**, and village tours to meet the San/Basarwa/bushpeople (** optional and own account)

FULL DAY OF ACTIVITIES IN THE OKAVANGO DELTA 

This is your second day in the delta. With the help of your assigned guide, you will be able to do the Mekoro rides along the many water channels of the Okavango. On a good day you will be able to see loads of bird-life, lions, elephants, buffalo, and giraffe, to mention but a few. You will also be able to do horseback safaris or visit the nearby bushpeople homesteads. The whole day will be at your disposal.

Activities in the Okavango Delta

This is your third and last activities day in the Delta. With the help of your assigned guide, you will be able to do the Mekoro rides along the many water channels of the delta and on a good day you will be able to see loads of bird-life, lions, elephants, buffalo giraffe, to mention but a few. We recommend a flight over the delta to get to appreciate the beauty of this wonder better. The whole day will be yours to explore the delta.

TRANSFER TO MAUN AIRPORT

This is your last day in the Delta. You will be transferred to either Maun or Kasane airport for your flight back home or to the next destination. Flight transfers time will depend on your flight times at Maun/ Victoria Falls or Livingstone Airport, please liaise with you assigned guide.
