Days 1 - 3: Kosi Bay

After arrival into King Shaka airport, get ready to experience the, unspoilt Kosi Bay Nature Reserve, on the Elephant Coast in northern KwaZulu Natal! 

As the only private lodge in the lush Kosi Bay Nature Reserve, Kosi Forest Lodge guarantees guests will experience the best of both the woodland and the wetland worlds of Maputaland with its 16 bush suites blending seamlessly with the surrounding sand-forest.

The St Lucia Wetlands – of which the reserve forms part – is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to crocodiles, hippos and other wetland wildlife. With 11,000 hectares encompassing marshland, swamp and coastal forests, the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve beckons guests to explore its splendour: take a canoe trip or river cruise down the lakes and estuaries, or gallop on horseback through the reserve’s woodland wonderland.

Back at your suite, luxury awaits. The en-suite rooms are raised on a wooden deck, giving you a view of Kosi Lake below. The rooms’ open-air bathrooms are set in white beach sand and shielded within a reed-enclosed boma, allowing you to unwind under a canopy of trees.

Days 4 - 5: iSimangaliso Wetland Park

After breakfast this morning, please bid your hosts a farewell, as today you will travel to an exclusive location in the unique conservation area of the iSimangaliso (Greater St Lucia), Wetlands Park, situated in one of Africa`s World Heritage Sites. A wetland of international significance and national pride. ! 

Nibela Lake Lodge is an experience of luxury, privacy and solitude. The tranquility of Nibela, with its variety of animal and birdlife and spectacular views, will revitalize any visitor. 

The lodge blends almost magically into the forest surrounds. Eleven luxurious thatched chalets are situated high up in the cool forest beneath a magnificent canopy of trees, where guests can enjoy the solitude and tranquility of Africa at its best 

Spend time venturing out to explore the surrounding area of iSimangaliso. Go walking, fishing, diving, biking, birding or picnicking. Enjoy game viewing on a day trip to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Park, or kick back near the pool and catch up on some good old-fashioned relaxation.

Days 6 - 7: Umdloti

After breakfast this morning, drive yourself back towards the coast!
Fairlight Beach House, is waiting to welcome you today. This warm and friendly, family-run B&B is right on Umdloti Beach. 180 degree sea views and the sound of the ocean offer the ultimate relaxing setting. for guests, and with the convenient location - it’s just 10 minutes from the airport, its the perfect ending to your adventure. Day 8: End of Itinerary

An early check out has been arranged for you this morning.
Please make the short drive back to Durban Airport and check in for your home-bound flight.
