Monday:
Arrival Jomo Kenyatta International Airport ( NBO) and 1 hour transfer to our haven in the midst of an upmarket suburb. Adjust to the local time zone, and just relax. Our local Shul will deliver some lovely premade meals for dinner and breakfast.

Tuesday:
Breakfast and morning road transfer to Wilson airport for scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park for 2 nights stay at Elewana Tortilis camp. A great iconic setting with the famous snowcapped peak in the background of Mount Kilimanjaro, and then savanna and umbrella thorntrees with wildlife in the foreground.

Famed for its long-tusked elephants, views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and hundreds of species of bird, Amboseli National park is a photographers haven. The park's name derives from the Maasai word for salty-dust, thanks to its barren desert-like plains, however, thanks to springs running off the mountain this land is teeming with life. Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli is located on the southwestern edge of the park, facing the mountain and overlooking its own private conservancy Kitirua Conservancy.
The en suite tents are spacious, comfortable and offer views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The first eco-lodge of its size, the main lounge, bar and dining area, have been built using natural materials, including classic thatched roofs, representative of the building style of the area. Enjoy game drives in open-sided vehicles, exclusive access to Kitirua Conservancy, guided walks, bush breakfasts, cultural visits and stunning sundowners.
Wednesday:
Morning and afternoon safari drives, followed by lovely times of relaxation and meals back at the lodge.
Thursday:
Early morning Scheduled flight via Wilson airport and then connect to next short flight up to Lewa Wilderness.
Lewa is a private conservancy practicing cutting edge wildlife conservation, responsible for reversing the decline of wildlife populations. The conservancy is a safe refuge for the critically endangered black rhino and the endangered Grevys zebra, as well as the elephant, lion, giraffe and wild dog. Visitors are therefore privy to some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing that Kenya has to offer.
Elewana Lewa Safari Camp is a small, comfortable and relaxed retreat in the heart of Lewa. Featuring large tented bedrooms with verandahs and en suite bathrooms, the camp offers authentic comfort for its visitors. The main mess area is warmed by cosy log fires, perfect for relaxing after a day in the Conservancy.Experience wildlife day and night game drives, guided walks, lion tracking, bird viewing, bush breakfasts and sundowners, evening horse or camel rides and local cultural visits or relax by the pool soaking up the spectacular wilderness
Friday:
Morning and afternoon safari activities, before preparing for Shabbat in the late afternoon. We normally ensure we are back in camp 90 minutes before sunset, so there is ample time to settle in for a special Sabbath on safari.
Our Sabbath out in Lewa is one of a kind, and you can safely walk around the property without any hesitation, during the time of Sabbath.
Our Friday night, and Saturday Sabbath meals, will have been premade by the Shul in Nairobi, and sent with you on the plane to your destination.
Saturday:
Full day at leisure for Shabbos
If you would like they can also take you on a guided bushwalk for Shabbos, and the area is stunning for a nice easy walk in the african bush.
Sunday:
Morning game drive, check out and then take a scheduled flight from Lewa airstrip, via Wilson airport, and down into the Masai Mara.
Transfer from the nearby airstrip to one of the most beautiful settings in all of the greater Masai Mara conservancies.
Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp is located in the heart of Mara North Conservancy, sharing 70,000 acres with only five other camps.
Set in a mixed grove of fig and pepper trees, ten spacious safari tents provide traditional, luxurious safari accommodation. Wildlife wanders across the plains in front of camp and at night, the roar of lions, call of the leopard and trumpeting of the elephants close by are reassurance of being at one with the wild; no fences, no boundaries.
Not only are the wildlife drives outstanding; as the conservancy is restricted to those vehicles belonging to camps within the conservancy ( translation- NO crowding at wildlife viewing experiences ! )
but the camp is still a great base to explore larger areas, and perfectly located to observe the spectacle that is the wildebeest and zebra migration.
Sitting outside of the Masai Mara Game Reserve allows for evening game drives and guided bush walks, led by highly skilled guides. This is not permitted on national park land, so again a great advantage over the camps inside the confines of the national park itself.

Breakfast and final safari activitity en route to the airstrip.
Fly back to Nairobi Wilson airport,
Transfer by road to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta airport.
