On arrival at Lusaka Airport you will be met by a local representative who will assist with the check-in for your scheduled ProFlight flight from Lusaka to Jeki Airstrip. Upon arrival at Jeki Airstrip, we will be met by our guide and enjoy a very scenic boat ride to our accommodation for the next 4 nights, the luxurious Chiawa Camp. This afternoon, following check-inn and lunch, we will set off on our long awaited first afternoon safari.
Over the next three full days, we will explore as much of this beautiful landscape as possible, both by vehicle and boat as we search for the best sightings and photo opportunities.
Following a last morning activity here at Chiawa Camp, we will enjoy another boat transfer on the mighty Zambezi River to our next 4-night stay and probably one of my absolute favourite safari properties in all of Africa, Old Mondoro. Upon arrival, we will sit down for another quick briefing before settling in and lunch. Hereafter, we will set off on another afternoon drive.
During our three full days here, we will again enjoy photographing the local wildlife from both vehicle and boat, taking in as much as we can and making the most of our stay in this little jewel of a safari camp.
Following a last morning activity and breakfast, we will leave camp with all our luggage packed to allow us as much time as possible out in the field, doing what we love most. We will end our last morning drive back at Jeki Airstrip where we will bid our local guide farewell before hopping on our flight to Lusaka.
