Day 1: Johannesburg

Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), one of our representatives will meet you, assist you through customs, and help you check into your hotel. Your hotel is conveniently situated by the airport, ensuring a safe and smooth transition.

Alternatively, you can opt for our private chauffeur transport, which will take you to one of the following upscale hotels, located just 20 minutes north of the airport:

  • The Residence: A boutique hotel offering a luxurious and intimate experience.
  • Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff: A larger, renowned hotel known for its exceptional service and amenities.

Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant (own account).

Days 2 - 4: Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

After breakfast, our representative will meet you at reception and assist with your check-in for the flight to Hoedspruit.

Flight Details:

  • Route: Johannesburg (JNB) to Hoedspruit (HDS)
  • Departure: 10:30 AM
  • Arrival: 11:25 AM
  • Notes: The flight is typically operated by smaller jets that fly between regional airports, similar to those used for regional flights in America. These airlines are known for their reliability and commitment to safety.

Upon arrival in Hoedspruit, you will be transferred to your lodge, located within a 30 to 60-minute drive from the airport. After settling in, you will enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive with accredited game rangers. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for a dinner under the stars.

During your stay, enjoy morning and afternoon safari activities, providing ample opportunities to experience the region's diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.

Activities and Services

Day 5: Cape Town

Embark on your final game drive in the morning, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Afterwards, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Cape Town.

Flight Details:

  • Route: Hoedspruit (HDS) to Cape Town (CPT)
  • Departure: 1:55 PM
  • Arrival: 4:40 PM

Upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel, located about 30 minutes away from the airport.

Table Mountain:
A natural wonder of the world, visitors can ascend via a Swiss-designed cable car. The ride takes about five minutes, offering breathtaking landscape views.

Wine Country:
South Africa boasts one of the oldest wine countries outside Europe, with valleys resembling those of Napa Valley or those in Italy and France. Winemaking history in the region spans over 350 years.

Whale Watching (seasonal):
At certain times of the year, visitors can witness whales in various bays, with Hermanus being one of the most popular spots. The peak season is typically from June to November when southern right whales migrate to breed and calve.

Cape of Good Hope:
Marking the southwesternmost point of the African continent, it's significant for maritime navigation and trade routes. The area features rugged cliffs, scenic viewpoints, and the iconic Cape Point Lighthouse, offering panoramic views of the coastline.

Funicular to the Lighthouse:
Visitors can enjoy a funicular journey offering breathtaking panoramic views as it ascends towards the upper viewpoint near the Cape Point Lighthouse.

Boulders Beach:
Known for its colony of African penguins, visitors can observe these charming birds in their natural habitat while walking along wooden boardwalks that protect the nesting sites.

Day 6: Cape Town

Full-day private City Tour: Today offers a splendid opportunity to engage in a tour of Cape Town. The itinerary includes a visit to the iconic Table Mountain and Signal Hill, providing breathtaking views. Additionally, you'll have the privilege of exploring the enchanting Kirstenbosch Gardens, celebrated for their captivating beauty.

Lunch options will be discussed with your guide (for your account).

Upon returning to the hotel after your day's exploration, feel free to venture out to the V&A Waterfront. Here, you'll discover a plethora of exquisite restaurants. You may also choose to embark on a Bay Cruise or a helicopter flight over Cape Town for an unforgettable experience

Day 7: Cape Town

Full-day private Cape Point or Winelands Tour:

Cape Point Tour:
Today, you will head out with your guide to Cape Point. Along the way, you will drive along Chapman's Peak and visit Maidens Cove. Make stops at charming locations for a coffee break and lunch, and experience the beauty of Boulders Beach, known for its resident penguins. Enjoy the scenic views from the funicular ride. Additionally, there's an amazing aerial experience exploring the many places in Cape Town.

Cape Winelands Tour:
Head out with your guide to the beautiful Franschhoek wine country, where you'll explore 4 to 5 different wine farms in the region.

Return to the hotel for dinner (for your account).

Optional: Enjoy an adventurous excursion exploring Cape Town in a sidecar. Cape Town sidecar tours offer a unique and thrilling way to explore the city and its surroundings. These tours typically involve riding in a vintage motorcycle with a sidecar attached, allowing passengers to enjoy panoramic views while cruising through the streets.

Day 8: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls.

Flight Details:

  • Route: Cape Town (CPT) to Victoria Falls (VFA)
  • Departure: 2:30 PM
  • Arrival: 5:20 PM

Upon arrival in Victoria Falls, your driver will meet you at the airport. You will proceed through the border where you will need to pay for your Kaza Univisa, costing approximately USD 50 per person, en route to your accommodation.

After breakfast, embark on a guided 2-hour tour of Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side (excludes the Zambian side), one of the world's most majestic natural wonders. In the late afternoon, enjoy a relaxing sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River, known for its spectacular views and wildlife sightings. Return to your accommodation for dinner after sunset.

Optional Adventure Activities:

  • Visit Livingstone Island and swim in the adjacent Devil's Pool, offering thrilling views over the edge of the falls.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

After breakfast, you will have a transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.

Flight Details:

  • Route: Victoria Falls (LVI) to Johannesburg (JNB)
  • Departure: 1:25 PM
  • Arrival: 3:10 PM

Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, proceed to check in for your onward flight. It's advisable to aim for a flight departure time after 8:00 PM to avoid rushing.

You will fly back from either Victoria Falls or Livingstone Airport to OR Tambo International Airport. It's recommended to schedule international flights departing after 8:00 p.m from OR Tambo International Airport (JNB).
