Day 2: Sunshine Coast

Further along the journey, you’ll pass through Bundaberg, a city known for its rum distillery and as the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Your destination for the day is Mon Repos, a small coastal area just outside Bundaberg, renowned for its vital role in marine turtle conservation. Mon Repos Beach is the largest loggerhead turtle nesting site in the South Pacific, making it a significant location for wildlife enthusiasts and conservationists alike.
