Zambia - 5-day Kaingu Canoe Trail - Private accommodated

You will be met at Lusaka Airport and transferred from Lusaka to KaingU Safari Lodge, where you will spend the next 4 nights on safari. Once you arrive, you will check-in and then enjoy a shared afternoon game drive.

Transfer Time: ~5 hours

Starting canoeing on a wide & slow-flowing stretch of the river, north of the lodge. Stop for a granite-boulder picnic and overnight on an island, accommodation in a dome-tent or Tonga-tree basket. you can enjoy lunch and an afternoon activity: a boat cruise, nature walk or game drive.

After breakfast, continue canoeing through a myriad of channels & islands. Returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon activity: nature walk, game drive, visit to the school & community.

Enjoy a morning game drive, a sunrise walk or lie in. After a siesta, start canoeing from the lodge heading south through the rapids and Izhibakamnwale channels; return to the lodge by vehicle or on foot.

After breakfast, you will be transferred from KaingU back to Lusaka Airport.
