Expert tips

Inter camp flights within Botswana are operated by either Cessna 206 which seat 4 passengers, Airvan that seats 8,  or Cessna 208,  which seats 10. Or by helicopter. For safety reasons, these flights have strict luggage limits. You are allowed a maximum of 20kgs (44lbs) per person, in soft sided bags. The luggage compartments are small, and bags must be able to be manipulated into the tight spaces. If you have excess luggage, there are services in Johannesburg that can store bags for you, whilst on safari. We will provide you with all the necessary luggage requirement information.

Your inter-camp flights are on a scheduled (not private) basis, and may involve stops enroute at other safari camps to drop off or collect other passengers. Flight times are determined the day before, and the camp manager will notify you as to what time your flights are.
