After your leisurely breakfast, check out and continue back to Stellenbosch.
Before continuing your journey by taking the N7 toward Clanwilliam, just before Niewoudtsville is the Hantam Botanical Gardens. When in Niewoudtsville turn right onto the R357 at a sign that says Quiver Tree Forest and drive 7,5km. You will reach a beautiful gorge with water at the bottom. In rainy season there is a few waterfalls. Here you can continue on the R357 until you find the Quiver Tree Forest on the right (approx. 20km’s). You will then turn right and access a private farm. The forest is on the right and continues for a few kilometers. Head back to the R27 at Niewoudtsville and take the R27 towards Vanrhynsdorp, stopping at the Baghdad Cafe for lunch (own account) . You will then cross the Karoo Highlands. At the top of Vanrhynspass, stop and enjoy the specatcular views. Resume your travels and take the N7 to Stellenbosch
Arriving into the Stellenbosch, continue to check in at the hotel, thereafter relax and unwind as the remainder of your day is at leisure.
