Upon arrival in Livingstone, the Bushtracks Africa Guide will transfer you to the lodge.
The rest of the day is at leisure but we suggest booking a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river.

Livingstone is a malaria area. We highly recommend visiting your G.P. to get prophylactics prior to travel. The hotels do spray and there is insect repellent in the rooms but it is a good idea to wear long sleeves and trousers in the evening.

The water levels are very low between September and January. In this time, it is advisable to do the falls on the Zimbabwean side where there is more water going over.

The water levels usually reach their peak in May. Livingstone Island are usually closed between February and June depending on how fast the water levels rise and fall.

Rafting is usually closed in the peak water months of March to June depending on how fast the water levels rise and fall. During severe drought years, they don't close at all.

10 00hrs Meet your guide in reception for the transfer to Chobe. It is a one hour transfer to the border and twenty minutes to the lodge. We usually allow 2hrs for this transfer to cover the border crossings.
Lunch is served in the restaurant from 12 00hrs to 14 00hrs and is for your own account.
15 00hrs Depart on a cruise on the Chobe River.
