Private Pool Residences offer 400-500m² and include a living room, one large bedroom, two bathrooms, terrace, large infinity pool, a daybed and dining pavilion. Hand-carved wood, precious silk and Egyptian cotton create a cosy atmosphere. Integrated glass walls in various rooms allow for a view of the ocean, the sky and the surrounding vegetation. All residences are attended by a certified private butler. Each residence provides telephone, free wireless internet access, minibar, coffee machine, tea making facilities, TV, DVD-CD player, air conditioning, ceiling fan, private sun deck and island buggy.

Private Pool Twin Residence

have approx. 600-750 m² and include a living room as well as two separate bedrooms. The second bedroom has the same features as the first bedroom except that there are twin beds. The Spa Residence has a mini spa with a bathroom, which can also be converted into a second bedroom with king size bed. All residences are attended by a certified private butler. Each residence provides telephone, free wireless internet access, minibar, coffee machine, tea making facilities, TV, DVD-CD player, air conditioning, ceiling fan, private sun deck and island buggy.

Banyan Hill Estate with 1100 m² lies high above on the plateau of the eastern strip of Fregate Island Private and can only be reached over a private entry. The estate offers a stunning view over the ocean, the nearby beaches and the marina. Banyan Hill features a huge open living area with an additional small TV lounge, a big terrace with private pool, seating area and a fully equipped kitchen. 3 separate sleeping villas each for 2 persons and max. 1 child on an extra bed are located along the cliff with a veranda, own bathroom, TV, CD/DVD player and minibar. PADI Courses (Extra costs)

The Dive Centre at Frégate Island Marina offers various diving courses and certifications, and all guided dives are conducted from one of our dive vessels. There are numerous beautiful sites, which are exclusive to Frégate Island guests, and suit all levels of diver from beginner through to experienced. A PADI Instructor will accompany you on each dive. Certified divers are required to show proof of certification before diving.

If interested in exploring the underwater realm, Fregate Instructors offer all PADI dive courses as well as special programs .

A complimentary introduction to scuba is available, enabling you to experience the sensation of breathing underwater before you decide to take a course.

Other Water Activities possible on Fregate:

-The marine environment around Fregate Island is diverse and unspoiled, teeming with colour, dramatic topography and excitement.

-If you wish to scuba dive by day or night, the diving staff know all the best spots and can arrange PADI certified diving courses for all levels if this is something of interest.

Deep sea fishing there is a game bank nearby.

If you prefer to sample an authentic taste of Seychellois lifestyle, can arrange a trip with one of the local fishermen.

Other ideas to enjoy the waters are that the boat house have a range of sailing, surfing and kayaking equipment - from Hobie Cats, windsurfing boards, water skis.

Additionally Fregate has own boats in the marina or we can bring in a private 76ft Ferretti Yacht to Fregate to use and for exploring the surrounding islands, for a day trip of your choice.

Depending on your preferences can offer Scuba diving with a professional dive master on board. Alternatively a bit of Big Game fishing can enjoyed on board.

Obviously if sea conditions are too rough then would cruise relatively close and in the lee of the islands to fish. The captain would not go to the dropoff / deeper banks unless winds are 12 knots and below. Anchorages around Praslin and La Digue, as well as Curierse, Anse Lazio, Anse Georgett are perfect at this time of year.

Seastream is the fastest and sleekest luxury crewed yacht in the Seychelles, built in Italy in 2006 by the Ferretti She is built to standard including all factory extras such as anti roll stabilizing gyros, exclusive to Ferretti yachts. We can suggest having it for part of all of the time, depending on your interests.

Explore Praslin & La Digue

A full-day excursion to explore Praslin & La Digue

Praslin the second-largest island in Seychelles. An island with a long pirate and spice trade history, as well as exceptional natural riches. The Vallée de Mai is an ecological site of such importance that it has been given UNESCO World Heritage Site status and its pristine native forest was once thought to be the biblical Garden of Eden. Leafy trails wind through the unspoilt tropical forest, giving you the chance to spot rare indigenous birds such as the Seychelles bulbul and black parrot, as well as encounter the semi-legendary coco de mer tree. There is no better spot for lunch than the stunning Anse Lazio beach, with its tranquil lagoon that is perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Other attractions on Praslin include art galleries, a black pearl breeding centre and fragrant vanilla orchards.

The fourth-largest island in Seychelles, La Digue marches to a delightfully different drumbeat. This laid-back spot only recently saw the first motor vehicles arrive – most people still get around its narrow lanes and tracks by bicycle. First occupied in 1798 by early French settlers, you could be forgiven for thinking that not much has changed in the centuries since then. The iconic granite boulders that frame Anse Source d’Argent make this one of the most photogenic beaches in the world, and an afternoon of leisurely island-hopping can also include a dip in the warm turquoise waters of Anse Cocos ( if boat option preferred) before your return to Fregate Island.

This is a leisurely outing that helps you connect with the rhythms of a calmer way of life.

Suggested Plan (all times are approximate):

Depart Fregate Island for Praslin by helicopter or M/Y Sea Stream ( your decision will be needed on preferrences)

Logistics with 1 or 2 helicopters or with M/Y Seastream 76ft Ferretti Yacht

If deciding on the yacht version then can potentially fish on the way to La Digue, and the catch can be used for their lunch, as sashimi; sushi; along with other seafood grills.

Suggested setup arranged with regards to the lunch on Grande Anse beach ( Location will be fixed on the beach)

Or set up lunch at Petit Anse beach, a short walk from Grand Anse which will ensure more privacy as the month of August is very popular with visitors.

The restaurant at Grande Anse will be a back up plan if needed

10:25 - Depart from Fregate with helicopter or depart earlier with yacht version

Clients x 2, 1 management / security ( if required) depart Fregate with same helicopter or private yacht if preferred ( though earlier departure would be needed)

10:40 - Arrival at La Digue’s heli pad and transfer by private vehicles to for L’Union Estate | Bikes on standby if preferred. Tour of the copra kiln, traditional coconut oil mill and the colonial plantation house. Photo stop at Anse Source D’Argent, one of the most magnificent beaches in the world.

Marvel at some of Seychelles most impressive rock formations –truly unique.

11:45 - Depart Anse Source D’Argent, again transfer by private vehicle ( use bikes for fun angle if up for it) for Grande Anse beach / Petit Anse Beach. You will have time to relax and explore the beach.

Your private chef will prepare and showcase local delicacies from the fresh catch by the chefs on way over or by yourself also with the yacht used, which will give you the chance to fish with gear provided on the yacht.

1330 - Depart Grand Anse beach for the helipad to catch the helicopter for the crossing to Praslin. ( Clients x 2, 1 management / chef TBA)

13:45 - Helicopter collects from heli pad

14:00 - Arrival at Praslin airport ( location to land heli) and private transfer to the Vallee De Mai.

NOTE: After this helicopter drops off it heads off for other transfers / schedules to adhere too.

14:15 - Guided visit -discover this mystical World Heritage Site famous for the Coco de Mer –look out for the Black Parrot, one of the rarest birds in the world we can arrange to have presented gifts of 2 x Coco de Mers ( Euro 250 each x 2 = Euro 500 for decent quality and unique gift of Seychelles and memory of her trip to this location)

1515 - Depart the Vallee de Mai for the airport / Helicopter

15:30 - Depart back to Fregate with helicopter or Yacht depending on the version you prefer

15:45 Arrival Fregate in time for sunset

The chef prepares the fresh catch and serves it as Sashimi and Sushi straight on the boat.

Visit Mahe

Mahé is home to Seychelles’ capital, Victoria, which is one of the world’s smallest. Despite its diminutive size, it makes for a rewarding destination. Guided walking tours of Victoria reveal the vibrant Creole character of the islands, best illustrated in the colourful, bustling Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke market where you can stock up on Seychellois delicacies such as fiery chilli sauce and shark chutney, both of which pack quite a bite. Seychelles history reads like a particularly imaginative story book with tales of pirates, plantations and pioneers, and is brought to life at the National Museum. Keep a lookout too for the replica of London’s famous Big Ben clock tower.

Tea tasting at The Tea Factory is a Mahé institution, or for something a little stronger, drop in at the Takamaka Bay rum distillery, home of Seychelles’ national spirit. The drive through the mountains to Beau Vallon for lunch at the Savoy is particularly scenic and the beaches of Mahé are the perfect place to while away an afternoon island-style, before returning back to Fregate.

The many different leisure activities on Mahé give you several options for customising this excursion. Suggesting by helicopter.

Créole Night in Fregate's Plantation House, which is evoking the creole essence. A night of degustation of a selection of local dishes with the entranced by the drums, the rhythm, the fire, the dance, the moutia séance! Helicopter from Fregate Island to Constance Ephelia

Zipline experience

A short buggy drive up the hillside, a short walk up the mountain, with breathtaking views of the Bay at Port Launay, and you arrive at “The Icebreaker” – the first of a series of zipline rides through the canopy of the beautiful forest that covers the hillside of Ephelia.

A series of aerial ziplines, that is suspended both within and above the forest that covers the hillside on Ephelia, allows the adventurer the opportunity to experience this pristine environment in breathtaking fashion.

Helicopter to Cap Lazare Ephelia for private lunch

Cap Lazare is set on a point in the south of Mahé overlooking a private, secluded beach and a calm, turquoise lagoon with an astonishing array of colourful marine life and the biggest reserve of land tortoises in the Granitic Island. The property lies concealed from the rest of the world behind lush green hills covering 75 acres with an abundance of fruit-bearing trees. Beautifully built just above the beach, a small and authentic Creole-style village has been replicated featuring lodges covered in palm leaf thatch.

Return to Fregate Island via Helicopter.
