Day 1: Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your driver  will be waiting for you. The journey to your hotel takes around 30 minutes. Begin your safari with a stay at Ole Sereni hotel, which borders Nairobi National Park (the only national park in the world right next to a city). If the captivating views of the park aren’t enough, you can usually spot giraffe, zebra, antelope, and buffalo near the waterhole in front of the property. End your first day in Kenya with a drink at the rooftop bar, admiring Nairobi’s skyline and getting ready for your adventure.

Ole Sereni’s views alone make it a one-of-a-kind destination. Its location makes it one of the most-visited hotels in Nairobi as well – it sits directly on the border of the Nairobi National Park.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

This morning you will be collected by your driver/guide and private 4x4 vehicle and make your way towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with seriously beautiful scenery along the way. During the four-hour drive, you’ll pass the region of Nyeri and be greeted by stunning views of Mount Kenya.  After arrival at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, you’ll have time to eat lunch and settle into your new surroundings. Then, choose between relaxing in camp for a few more hours or heading out on an afternoon game drive before making your way back to camp for a delicious dinner, and maybe a drink or two.

You will keep your private vehicle and driver until you depart Samburu for the Masai Mara.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

During your second day at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, you can choose between visiting the Endangered Species Enclosure, heading off on a game drive, or venturing out on foot to explore the beauty of the conservancy. Extend your time in the bush by enjoying a packed lunch in the plains, or head back to camp for a sit-down meal. If you choose to relax during the heat of the afternoon, you can take a night drive before returning to camp for a late dinner.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve

After an early breakfast at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, head out for a three-hour game drive towards Samburu National Reserve. You’ll arrive in the heart of Samburu just in time for lunch at Elephant Bedroom. This intimate camp offers simple elegance complemented by an exceptional safari experience. Like Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, it is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River, so wildlife is never far away. Activities include two daily game drives, but, if you’re up for something more adventurous, heading out on a guided bush walk is always a great way to explore the reserve. Elephant, monkey, and impala are among the camp’s many regular wild visitors – and the region is known for its lion and leopard numbers, too. Samburu also has unique wildlife such as gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grévy’s zebra, and beisa oryx, none of which are found in other areas of Kenya.

After your final morning at Elephant Bedroom, your driver– guide will transport you the airstrip, 30 to 60 minutes from camp. From there, you’ll catch a 90-minute flight to the Masai Mara. You will be collected by a driver–guide who will take you to your next stop on this itinerary: Naibor Camp . It is the ideal place to spend the last few nights of your Kenyan safari. At Naibor Camp you will be sharing the game drive vehicle with other guests staying at your camp.

Allow yourself to completely disconnect on your last few days of safari before heading back to the real world.
