Upon arrival into Livingstone, Zambia you will be met by a representative from the Islands of Siankaba who will transfer you by vehicle to the lodge. This will take approximately 50 minutes – 1 hour.
Depending on flight times, you will arrive in time for a late lunch or afternoon tea. Once you have settled in to your new home for the next 3 nights, you will have the opportunity for a sun-set cruise or simply relax with a drink whilst overlooking the Zambezi River.
Activities and facilities available: a trip to the mighty Victoria Falls; daytime and sundowner cruises (including one private cruise); mokoro trips, guided nature walk; a walk with rhinos; wifi in the main area; laundry; swimming pool; spa (treatments at an additional cost).

After breakfast you will transfer by vehicle from The Islands of Siankaba to Kasane airport in Botswana, which will take around 1hour – 1 hour 30 minutes in total.
You will be assisted through immigration and then take a very short speed boat transfer (approx. 5 minutes) at the Kazangula border to cross into Botswana. You will then transfer by vehicle to Kasane Airport to catch a light aircraft to Savuti Airstrip.
Upon arrival into Savuti you will be met by your private guide from Golden Africa Safaris who transfer you by vehicle to your new home for the next three nights.
After you have been shown your new home in your private campsite for the next three nights, you will head out on your first game-drive.

You have two full days to explore Savuti. Typically you will be woken up early for a light breakfast; the aim is to be out in the vehicle for sunrise maximising the opportunity to see the wildlife when they are at their most active.
Arrival back into camp is usually around 11am when you will have a well-deserved brunch and a chance for a siesta, shower or to simply relax. At around 3.30 / 4pm tea and coffee will be available before you head out for your afternoon game drive. Depending on what sightings you come across, you will stop for sun-set drinks at a scenic point before heading back to camp for dinner.
All full days on safari will follow a similar structure to this.

Today you will gradually make your way to Little Machaba in Khwai.
You will likely arrive at the lodge in time for brunch. After brunch you will be shown around the camp which will be home for the next 2 nights. You will then have a chance to relax before heading out on an afternoon's activity to explore the Khwai area.
Khwai is a community run concession which allows off-roading and night drives.

This morning you will say good-bye to the Khwai area as you head to the beautiful Moremi Game Reserve.
You will be rejoining your private mobile camp which will be ready and waiting for you in a private campsite in Moremi.
After a little rest and relaxation, you can look forward to an afternoon game-drive to explore the Moremi area.
