Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

An ideal out-of-town base, this award-winning Zimbabwean safari lodge has spectacular views and is located just four kilometres from Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is positioned high on an escarpment overlooking the Zambezi National Park and boasts its own waterhole, much visited by elephants and herds of buffalo.

There is plenty to keep you busy: enjoy white-water rafting, game drives, adrenaline sports or canoe safaris plus guided bush walks. For gentler pursuits, you may savour delicious vintages on a wine-tasting activity or practice your swing on the 18-hole golf course nearby.

Highlights

  • Located close to Victoria Falls, bordering the Zambezi National Park
  • Comfortable, well-equipped rooms
  • Viewing decks above a busy waterhole

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge's bar, the aptly named Buffalo Bar, is an open-plan bar with an elevated platform for excellent game viewing over a much-frequented waterhole. For entertaining meals, head straight for The Boma Restaurant and its famous cultural-culinary experience; if you are after a finer dining experience, then make a booking at Makuwa-Kuwa a la carte restaurant, complete with impressive views over the waterhole.

The on-site waterhole attracts regular visitors ranging from elephants and buffalo to birds and baboons, providing excellent opportunities to spot wildlife without even leaving the lodge. For a bit of game viewing during your stay you can even go on guided walks and nature trails around the property or head out on a game drive to the nearby Zambezi National Park.
