Day 1: Central Drakensberg

Make your way to Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort, located in the central Drakensberg.

Check in to your newly built and comfortable Lakeside Suite, where you will spend the next 4 nights. Each suite is well-equipped for self-catering, and come with their own built-in braai. These suites are open-plan and boast stunning views over the dam.  If you don't feel like cooking?  No problem, there is also a superb restaurant and bar in the main resort building.

Days 2 - 4: Central Drakensberg

There are so many options for activities at the resort and also in the surrounding area.   

At Dragon Peaks: 

  • 3 swimming pools
  • 4 dams - fishing permitted for residents (catch & release only)
  • Kayaks and canoes for rental
  • Several hiking trails
  • Bushman paintings (mandatory to take local guide for this hike - additional costs apply)
