Arrival to Baltra, where our guide will be waiting for you.
Your first stop is at the Twin Craters. You can walk the trail around these beautiful craters which is an idea place to see different species of Darwin’s Finches.
Then, the trip takes you to the Highlands of Santa Cruz – this is the best place to see the Giant Tortoise up close in the wild. They roam the lush highlands searching for food or cooling off in the muddy pools. You will wander the trails while your guide will explain some interesting facts about these gentle giants. There is also a lava tunnel that you can explore.

You will enjoy an incredible diving day-tour from Santa Cruz Island. We start early with a transfer and navigation to the dive site that is visited on this day. There are two dive immersions included on a diving day tour, with enough time in between to relax, have a snack and get warm. On a diving trip you’ll have great opportunities of seeing a wide variety of underwater wildlife, such as: hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, green marine turtles, rays, and many multicolored tropical fish!
Trip duration: 7-8 hours (depending on dive site) / Type: This is a shared tour service
Note that it will be important to visit the dive shop the day before for an equipment check!
You’ll need to take a water taxi across the bay from your hotel to reach the meeting point, so please factor in enough time to do this.
**Gordon Rocks requires at least 25 logged dives.
