Gorilla Safari - Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, clear customs and exit arrivals hall where our representative awaits you for a meet and greet and there after transfer approx 10mins to your Hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to the Entebbe Airport 

07h45 Depart Entebbe on the Aerolink scheduled light aircraft flight to Kihihi Airstrip.

09h30 on arrival at the airstrip a Sanctuary camp guide will meet and transfer you to the camp. The transfer time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Upon arrival, proceed for the Batwa cultural Experience and later return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.  

You will have an early breakfast this morning before you transfer to the starting point of the gorilla trekking excursion with your trek being in the Buhoma area; a short walk from our camp.

Tracking commences every morning at 08h30. The gorillas we track belong to one of the 'habituated' family groups in Bwindi. For several years each group has undergone an extremely delicate process that has gradually made them used to the presence of humans. Experienced guides will accompany the tracking, many of who have been involved in the habituation process themselves. Once the gorillas are located, the group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. On completion of your trek return to camp and the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

This morning enjoy breakfast at the camp before your transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your scheduled morning flight to Entebbe.

09h45 Depart Kihihi Airstrip on an Aerolink scheduled light aircraft flight to Entebbe International Airport.

11h25 on arrival at the airport you will connect to your departing flight.
