You will be taken to the domestic airport this morning and flown to Kilimanjaro airport and met by your driver to your first night of the safari proper. Driving away from the airport and out onto an open road with no city in sight…it feels like your safari has already begun.

Today you will set out for the African postcard landscape of West Kilimanjaro and the stunning Kambi ya Tembo Camp. You will spend the remainder of the day settling in and game spotting from your private veranda. This area is renowned for its large population of the semi-nomadic people, the Masai, thorny acacia trees, and its unforgettable bull elephants.

Spend the early morning and afternoon on a game drive in the 600 square kilometre Sinya Concession in search of the many huge elephant bulls that are often spotted here. With little other tourism in the area, West Kilimanjaro also provides the perfect opportunity for cultural interactions with the local Maasai, visiting bomas, the market, the village school or when available, the participation in traditional ceremonies that will make your visit the most unforgettable experience of a lifetime. There is also the option to take a night game drive in search of nocturnal animals, or walking safaris escorted by Masai warriors.

Today the highlight of the safari begins and you head to the famous Serengeti National Park and the Kati Kati camp located in the Central Serengeti.
Kubu Kubu Lodge, the new development in the Serengeti by the TWC group. This property is located in the Central Serengeti, with easy access to the Seronera Airstrip and to some of the great game viewing areas of the Serengeti. The property will be completed in January 2016 and will be made up of 25 tented rooms on permanent wooden platforms with a thatch roofing and a veranda offering views of the Serengeti plains. There will be a swimming pool for those guests that would like to relax in the hot afternoons as well as your usual sundowner areas. This is an exciting development for the central Serengeti.

As the sun rises on your second day in the Serengeti, make the most of the game viewing. Order a picnic breakfast or lunch and head out into the bush and spend the day looking for game while enjoying the magic that this park has to offer. Later back at camp dinner is served and evening drinks by the camp fire is the perfect way to discuss the day’s events.

Located just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on 750 acres of private farmland, Ngorongoro Farm House is a small and exclusive lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano, just 5 km from the Ngorongoro Lolduare gate. The Lodge offers 50 spacious room cottages offering guests a rustic, countryside feel with its colonial farm house decor and farm activities. After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area and Descend into the sunken cone of the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a full-day game drive along the crater floor. The crater’s high walls serve as a natural enclosure for an abundance of wildlife. All the so-called "big five' may be seen. Among the notable birds are Lammergeyer, Vereaux's Eagle and Egyptian Vulture, which make their home in the highest of the crater wall, the beautiful Rosy-breasted Longclaw, which appears on the plains after rains and flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos which are spasmodic visitors to the crater lakes.

After breakfast drive to Arusha for lunch, after lunch transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight to Dar es Salaam where your time with us will end.
