Once you arrive at the International Airport, a CANATUR representative will be waiting for you there to give you directions and identify you with a postcard that should be stuck in a visible place, so that it will be easier for us to identify you when you get out. This person will give you indications to pass through the immigration areas. Once you pass the immigration line, another of our representatives will help you in the customs area and baggage belts. Once you have your luggage you will have to get out and walk along the sidewalk so that our representative will be able to locate you more easily. He/she will wear green trousers and orange shirt as uniform with the Swiss Travel logo and will also have a sign with your name or surname on it. After your meeting with our representative, he will take you to your respective transport to continue your journey. The drive from the airport to Peace Lodge takes about 1 hour, the trip is a bit curvy but quite scenic, in a cloud forest environment with beautiful views of Costa Rican grasslands.

The Arenal Hanging Bridges tour is an eco-tourism attraction within a 618-acre reserve of primary forest.
