Guests will be collected early from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a city hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara. The flight departs Nairobi at 10.30hrs and arrives approximately at 11.20hrs. Upon arrival, guests will be met and transferred to the camp. Following lunch, there will be an afternoon game drive returning to camp as the sun sets.
Kilima Camp, an intimate eco-lodge located on the Western Border of the Mara Reserve with all tents offering beautiful views over the Masai Mara Plains and the Mara River. The camp consists of 12 classic safari tents which are spacious and can accommodate a maximum of three guests. The tents are made up of wooden floors, hot running showers and a veranda overlooking the Mara River.
The spacious, central dining area is the camp’s meeting place where guests gather to dine, drink and exchange safari experiences. The chef provides an excellent variety of international cuisine to go along with a fine selection of wine. At Kilima Camp, enjoy the real African wildlife experience in an eco-style in complete comfort and style.
Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris.
Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). A fee for any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
Rising at dawn with tea and coffee, depart for an early morning game drive before breakfast, catching the animals before the heat of the day sets in. Enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure, followed by an afternoon game drive, returning to the camp as the sun sets.
Following an early morning game drive and breakfast, guests will be transferred to the nearest airstrip for a scheduled flight to Nairobi. The flight departs Mara at 11.45hrs and arrives into Nairobi at approximately 12.45hrs. Upon arrival, guests will be met and transferred to a Nairobi hotel where the safari ends.
Should guests wish to extend their stay at the camp; extra days can be added between Day 2 and Day 3. These days will include scheduled shared game drives
